The facilities were well kept and clean. We were thankful after having had a bad experience before going there. Traveling with dogs is challenging and they were awesome. They didn’t charge an extra fee and were welcoming.

Best little diner I've ever been to. Service was awesome.
Walmart was crazy busy didn't have enough register open or self check outs. Bathrooms were disgusting.

I have been staying at this Inn in Poplar Bluff for over 10 yrs. My tip is usually 16 hours & this is just 6 hrs from home...so I am ready to stop. Many things around, restaurants etc...wonderful little city.

This was our first visit to the city. Unfortunately with this pandemic we didn't get to enjoy as much as we wanted. There are so many restaurants we'd like to try. We love that there's a Baskin Robbins. Y'all have a lot of everything in your town!!

Our group actually only traveled to Poplar Bluff for the hotel room. We spent the day in Van Buren tubing/rafting the Current River.
Van Buren is not a large enough town to accommodate many tourists.
Poplar Bluff is a nice, cheap city to sleep while enjoying the river.
Howdy!! I made booking.com . I hit directions button on phone and drove to hotel and it took me to the Relax Inn. I was not going to another hotel. My wife and I were finishing a vacation in Branson she fell loading to leave had to take her to hospital in Branson for x-ray. Luckily it was a bad sprang. What really scared us was it was same foot she broke in January. So we were pretty strested out when we got Potular Bluff and when we were set to a several mile trip
It was nice, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. I wished I knew the girls name woking the front counter on the morning of Aug 8,2021. I would definitely give her a shout out. Poor thing was working the counter, tending to the Breakfast bar, wiping down tables, taking the trash out all while having a smile on her face. She needs a raise or a bonus pay. That's good help that this hotel doesn't need to lose.
Bullwinkle Lodge is a charming rustic motel with a great out of the way location. The pond with two covered gazebos is a very nice feature. We were looking forward to trying their restaurant, but it is temporarily closed. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I think it offers a great deal of value for the room price. we would definitely stay here again when our travels take us to Poplar Bluff, MO.
Free breakfast and discounted dinner from the attached restaurant was amazing! Staff was so very courteous. Lela was the front office attendant and she was so polite and worked with us even while the phone was ringing off the hook and multiple people at the counter. Beds were great, sheets were soft, room was perfectly cool and the whole Hotel was exceptionally clean.
The best thing I can say about this place is, it didn't smell bad. The lobby had typical "aging hotel" smell. But the room was pretty neutral in smell. The bed was comfortable enough, although the mattresses should be rotated a lot more often, as the "outside" was worn in/out while the "inside" seemed fairly "new".
Staff was exceptional. We felt very comfortable and at home. Loved that they were Pet friendly as we have stayed at another hotel in town and they Charged $50 for my 7 lb dog where Motel 6 charged NOTHING!
