Look no further! Brilliant place right on the beach in a lovely little town. Staff were super friendly, breakfast is varied. Pool is warm and nice to relax in, while still hearing the ocean behind. I wish we stayed longer there.
The room is huge, well equipped and we had the best rest there during our road trip.

We were there just for one Night but i have to say I would come back here any time. Helpfull and friendly staf. Beautiful location on the coast. We have stayed in the room with see side View. Room was spacious, clean. The most comfortable bed I've slept in in a long time. There was a wide slecetion of food for breakfast.

There are plenty of beach activities, restaurants, and shops. heading north you'll take about one hour to get to Hearst Castle and heading south also about one hour to get to Solvang. Just south is the town of Oceano and Oceano State Beach ware for a $5 fee you can drive along the ocean on the sand and you can rent ATVs and ride on the dunes.

We went to Avila Beach for the afternoon (after heavy wind on the beach)
, enjoyed walking among the shops and visited Avila Wine Company (Manny) and Alapay Cellars next door.
The shops along the street to the pier are restaurants and stores with a variety of merchandise.
"Downtown" Pismo Beach is a little inland.

Pismo is a cooler weather beach than Avila so if you're trying to get out of the heat its perfect. summer has lots of cars so plan on parking and walking. if you are planning on walking to the sand make sure your hotel is not on a cliff.

I grew up going on family vacations to Pismo Beach so I am biased. Probably the best kept secret of the California coast. Beautiful wide beaches, great restaurants, wine country a 10 minute drive from the beach and lots of other cute little coastal towns to explore for a day trip. You could spend all week laying on the beach or going someplace new every day. And nothing beats a Pismo Sunset!
We booked the hotel last minute as we were not sure where we would be on our California road trip!
This hotel was a great find, I read the excellent reviews and thought will book and we were not disappointed!
The rooms were accessible from the carpark, cosy, homely and they thought of everything. Nice coffee, little complimentary touches, makeup station, comfortable bed, fridge, popcorn for film watching!
Hotel is so convenient to Pismo beach and getting back on the road.
