By the mid-afternoon everything seemed closed up. Very few people around, many shops seemed closed or under renovation. The Hotel looked terrible and my sister had a previous very poor experience there. It looks dirty, curtains hanging, noisy. I cancelled the reservation and found another hotel! The website is misleading.

The hotel was DISGUSTING. Outdate shower.
The hotel was DISGUSTING. Outdate shower. Dark scary hallways. The carpets were dirty. The room was not clean. There were stains on the chairs. Old tile from the 70’s in bathroom. Couldn’t adjust the temperature of the water.
We were NOT notified that the lounge/bar/restaurant was not in service until AFTER our reservation was made.
It was an absolute nightmare and absolutely disgusting. Old, disgusting and dirty. There was blood on curtains. False advertising with pictures on website.

It's my home town so I know it well and could show my friends from Germany what a small town in the U.S.A. is like compared to the major cities they/we visited. Pendleton might be small, but it has a creative community and much to offer during the spring through fall. Winter is a quieter time, but there are some local restaurants and the Oregon Grain Growers Brand Distillery & restaurant that are lively & offer great meals and adult beverages.

This is our second visit, last time we enjoyed the Underground Tour, it was fun!
This time we visited friends in La Grande and then enjoyed the Prime Rib Dinner deal at the casino on Saturday Nights. It was a lot of food and a plenty big piece of Prime Rib!

I like the history surrounding Pendleton and would like to tour the underground cave. The restaurants were adequate, but nothing to write home about. I'm not particularly fond of the one-way streets in old downtown Pendleton. Pendleton is a good stopping point for us when we are traveling to the Portland area and the Rugged Country Lodge
fits both our needs and our price range. Very friendly too.
Excellent!! Totally renovated, super clean, trendy “Motolodge”! Comfortable beds and pillows, friendly staff in the office, zero complaints. Great location, walking distance to super restaurants and all of downtown shops. Stayed here heading south, then again headed north. No comparison to the other “budget” motels in the area. If you’re on the fence, highly recommend a stay here.
We always like this hotel. The room is always clean and comfortable. The staff is very nice and welcoming when we visit. This is our favorite place to come and stay when we're in Pendleton. They are pet friendly which is always a plus for us because we travel with our little dog. It's great for us.
I liked the flowers and decorations outside the hotel. Every room inside had a personal touch from the little birds nest in the bathroom to hold toiletries to the flowers as you come up the stairs. The beds were VERY comfortable.
Great location in downtown Pendleton with an easy could of blocks to the historic part of town. Friendly front desk and tasty breakfast. I liked the room, it was comfortable and had what you needed.
This hotel looks cleaner than the others around, and the swimming pool is indoors and in the same building, and the breakfast area is spacious, and our interactions with the employees were pleasant.
Cute and comfy property. Met the needs for our stay. Easy to find. Close to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. There was an issue when we first arrived, but it was resolved quickly.
Simple , straight forward motel. Has a pool. Serves a decent motel breakfast.
Nice staff. Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Great location in historic downtown Pendleton
It was okay- nothing fancy - pet friendly- kitchen staff extremely friendly- front desk staff pleasant.Exterior of building and nice grounds well kept. Bed comfortable
Staff was friendly. The pool area was nice. The room was typical Best Western A+ comfort. The hotel was right off the freeway, so easy to get in and out.
