Lovely, charming home that has multitude of vistas and quiet spots for privacy and relaxation. The full breakfast delivered to my room was better than most in high-end restaurants -- yummy bacon, chocolate chip scones, and more. The whole place was beautiful and was much larger than anticipated! Breakfast was available to be delivered to our room for an extra cost, which was so nice, and the jacuzzi tub worked great! The pool was beautiful as well, and I really enjoyed looking at all the artwork in the house. Maud was such a sweet host too!

It's a great place to get away from it all and spend time in the beautiful countryside. For those visiting Mount Weather, the location is perfect. That said, for the price I would have expected more of the amenities of a modern hotel such as television and replenishment of bath products. Lack of an elevator is a problem if you have an upper-floor room and bring a lot of luggage or are mobility impaired.
