The room was clean, but the bedding had holes in it; we assumed it was from wear. The bathroom needed to have all the trim and baseboards replaced.
Additional fees up the final price we paid by nearly $2; not much, but not what we expected—especially in light of the condition of this property.
We would not stay here again.

Liked the location for our plans while in Ottawa. We have stayed at Comfort Inns in other locations and have been very pleased. This property could use an update. There were things that an attempt had been made to update but either done on the cheap side and shoddy workmanship. For the price was disappointed with facility. Other hotels nearby we may consider on next trip to Ottawa.

Pleasant town, people are friendly. We visited quite a few restaurants and everyone was very friendly and the food and drinks were delicious and tasty. Riverside Diner; El Mezcal; Primetime Grill; We B Smoking, Inc and Applebees. We B Smoking is actually in Paola, KS. You won't be disappointed, they took great care of us and their other customers. They spread us out from being on top of one another.
The location was so convenient. We chose this hotel because a similar one was 25 dollars more. Beds were comfortable. Micro and fridge made it nice. We were not disappointed! Our room had a comfortable chair (similar to a recliner) with a matching foot stool. Rarely do you find that. Nice variety of breakfast items too.
Front desk staff very welcoming, friendly and provided all info needed. Plenty of breakfast options. Dining room kept clean, food was hot and tasted good. Not lacking in quantity of food. The bed was extremely comfortable, including the pillows. Out of the 4 hotels I stayed at this trip this Holiday Inn was the best.
Located next to multiple quick, decent food options and even a Walmart. The room was very spacious. We were on a 28 hour road trip. We had planned to depart in the early hours and ended up sleeping in until 9. Very pleased with our comfortable stay. Will return if our path ever leads us back to Ottawa Kansas.
Breakfast was so-so. It was the standard fare of most other similar hotels. Fresh fruit was nice. An additional bread option (rye or a seeded bread and/or bran muffin) would be nice. Additional flavors of yogurt would be nice.
It was cheap. Room had decent blankets and okayish pillows. Very large room compared to other hotels. Coffee maker in room. Able to park right in front of our room which was nice while unloading and loading.
