We love it in North Conway NH. Very relaxing but a lot of walking. We like shopping at Settler's Green. We took the Conway Senic Railway and loved it. We ate at the Muddy Moose. This is our favorite place. We always stop in at Zebs Country Store. The traffic was a little heavy but that was ok. It moved along quickly.

North Conway is a lovely town nestled in the White Mountains...
North Conway is a lovely town nestled in the White Mountains. But be warned-- I'm biased as I was raised there. Since then (long ago), it has built up more to cater to tourists, with the two local grocery stores replaced with big chains farther out on the strip. The beauty spots I enjoyed with friends in my youth have also been monetized and crowded. Mt Cranmore (the ski slope in town) has built up a lot of condos around it so you can no longer see the mountain from the base! Housing costs have gone through the roof because of second home owners such that people who work there cannot afford to live there. As a result, there is a challenge to staff hospitality so not all restaurants are open seven days a week for b/l/dinner. Despite all this, it is still gorgeous, especially if you travel north and take in the scenery along Rt 16. Very blessed to have had a Norman Rockwell childhood in this gorgeous part of the world.

There are far too many great restaurants and shops that just bring you back. The view of the White Mtns all around you and the quiet way. So fabulous! We like to go in the summer but have stayed here in the winter months, and it just adds to the charm.

Location to all North Conway offers in dining and shopping.
Location to all North Conway offers in dining and shopping. Toilet very low to ground, Used old furniture. My special requests before arriving were confirmed and upon arrival none were available. Special requests were high back chair(s) in room. Close Parking for our handicapped. Close proximity to room from main entrance. Furniture was very low to ground including television and chest of drawers it was on. TV was small. Broken secrity locks on doors of room. Hair in one of the beds. Only a sheet and blanket on the bed - no coverlet, comforter or anything like that.
From the moment we arrived, we were treated so well. A welcome bag was given to us AND our dog! Pet friendly hotels are amazing. Our room was immaculate with all the amenities of home. Breakfast was always tasty and hot and there was always a helpful courteous staff member around.
Very friendly staff, room is very spacious, quiet and clean. The Hotel is located right on the main road in North Conway which makes it a perfect base for exploring the White Mountains area. There is a big parking lot outside. The hotel is very well suited for families as well.

Breakfast was simple but a decent start of the day.
For diner we advise Tuckermans. It is close by and really good food.
Super charming, cozy and beautiful option for visiting New Hampshire.
The team is also super friendly and kind.
Also, just close to the hotel there’s a pub with wonderful IPA beers.
Definitely a place to return.
