loved the interactions with the managers.. they were so kind... and we had conversations... loved the history of the place... stayed in Candlewood room and was there for the premier of the movie called Candlewood.. so vey apt... location is fantastic!! so close to the theatre and downtown... loved walking... and the breakfast on both days was just deliciousss and they accomodated me for a later time as well! so thank you both & God bless!

I spent Mother's Day with my best friend at Mayflower Resort, and no words can truly capture the amazing experience we had. Special thanks to Katy at the reception on the night shift. We enjoyed our late-night conversations with her, and she treated us exceptionally well, even offering us s'mores by the fire.
Chris welcomed us with such warmth and kindness from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. sweet and friendly demeanor truly added a personal touch to our stay.

The beds were comfortable. It was centrally located for what we had planned.
There were plenty of towels.
The Courtyard by Marriott Danbury offers a fully equipped fitness center and a 24-hour convenience store. The Bistro is open for breakfast and dinner and serves freshly brewed Starbucks products.

Breakfast wasn’t included in the room I was in- this was fine as I had to leave early. The beds were super comfy and the room was extremely modern and clean. It was located on a road by the hospital but earplugs were provided and I had the best sleep in a very long time. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and kind.
There was nothing to like here. We did not receive breakfast. So Homestead Inn is not really a B & B. It is just a B. There is absolutely zero personal service here. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. I never had even one encounter with any person owning or employed by Homestead Inn. Never met or talked to ANYONE.
Near our destination of New Milford. Not a lot of traffic craziness. Staff at the motel was very accommodating in fixing a burned out bulb, replacing a non-working room key, giving directions. Fast, easy checkout because I used Booking.com.
The Rocky River Inn was a very pleasant change from chain hotels along the interstate. We had a good night’s sleep in a very comfortable bed and woke up to a view of the river. We’ll definitely stay there again when we’re in the area.
