Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. A/c worked well. Plenty of lights
When I made reservations, I asked for 2 Queens. And the guy we talked to confirmed that the room with 2 queens was available. However, when we arrived, they gave us a king and said that 2 queens wasn’t available. This was not satisfactory or acceptable.

I was pleasantly surprised by our stay here. I'm a self proclaimed accommodation snob. Not that I need to stay at a 5 star hotel each time, but I do require cleanliness, hospitality, and a good value! Red Roof Inn Nacogdoches checked all of these boxes. We selected this location after plans fell through and we needed a room in a pinch. Upon arrival, the young lady at the front desk was welcoming and provided ideas for dinner as well. I was a little skeptical upon arrival as this is your typical roadside hotel with outside hallways. However upon arriving at our room - WOW. It was clean, had hard floors (extra clean!) a nice large vanity area, and a VERY comfy bed. The shower was hot and had good water pressure. After a lot of time on the road it was a welcome respite from the car.
At the Hampton Inn & Suites Nacogdoches, guests can enjoy an outdoor pool and a fitness center close to the historic center of the oldest town in Texas.

Different type of breakfast . You all serve the same thing each day plus the worker can’t speak English to understand what you need from her

I like it over everything was great. Only complaint I have is the front is usually not being watched. There is always a sign that’s says I’ve stepped away I’ll be back.

I liked the location. I liked the room. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean but a bit run down. Inside was fine, it was the outside that looked ghetto.

Great getaway in a beautiful stretch of countryside. (Yes, you will access via dirt road but well maintained. How do you get off the beaten path otherwise?)
Great job on the conversion of this storage container. Well detailed, well done on the work and materials, very comfortable.
Host was very responsive and helpful.
Stayed overnight as we traveled up to Arkansas from Houston...perfect way to relax out of the way.

Handicap room did not have any bars around toilet and only 1 bar to get in and out of shower. No shampoo or body cleaners, did have bar of soap. Room price good. Only real complaint was lack of bars, so did not shower, except with wash cloth and soap. Loved the courtyard there. There were all kinds of
restaurants close by the motel and a coffeepot in the room. The funeral home was right up the street, got around town easily.

There was a lot of fun museum and historic sites to visit. The parks are beautiful. We were there for SFA Orientation but I grew up in this area and love being back in the fresh air and pine trees. We loved the Deli in the DT square. Original red brick streets! I love the history of it all. We also loved the Dead Tree Book Store. Make sure and tell Atticus hello from us.

Still a nice.quiet.scenic old town with nice people.
Still a nice.quiet.scenic old town with nice people. Several great restaurants we ate at were Dolly's,Clear Springs,Aunty Pasta all very close by where we stayed. The highlight was the best B & B Hardeman House-a must stay. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed immensely the front porch where we sat and talked for several hours before going to bed. The breakfast was so lovely and felt very special how the host Kim served it to the quests. If you've never stayed at a B&B try this if your staying here.

Nacogdoches is a small East Texas town.
Nacogdoches is a small East Texas town. The people are friendly. It is a farming and ranching area, so the people drive pickup trucks and wear caps and camouflage. Hunting and fishing are the most popular sports. The countryside is thick with pine trees and some native hardwoods. It is very green right now. Nearby Lake Nacogdoches is a good place to fish or camp. Stephen F Austin Jr. College is located in Nacogdoches, so there are shops and small food places that accommodate them. There are several motels in town, and some B&Bs. I was there to fish in a bass club tournament. Sixteen of us ate in a private room at the Jalapeno Tree Mexican restaurant. The food was good, the margaritas were very good, but I thought the food was a little expensive for what we got. I liked the beef fajitas ($20 for one person) and the Charro beans were the best I have ever eaten. The large base margarita was reasonably priced at $7.50 for 16 oz. The chips were good and plentiful, and the red sauce was ok. I recommend this restaurant. There are nicer motels than the one we stayed at.

We were in town for the annual Blueberry Festival, my first trip to the area. I loved the ambiance of the town. everything was clean. and any closed spaces were tidy, not unkempt. I had the feeling that the town is very proud of itself. The small town atmosphere of smiling, happy, friendly people pervaded our entire weekend. Everyone was polite and friendly.
Our trip was festival related, so this review touches only on what we experienced during our stay.
There is plenty to see that we missed. Next time the Azalea Trail!!!
My first impression of the town was how green it is!!! Coming from brown central TX it was a treat to see tall green trees, and the associated shade. There are many places to catch small concerts in town, we had a lovely evening at the free Bluegrass concert in the park. Even had a nice breeze. The green is very grass too.
The main event took place on Saturday and the whole town was out and about. Nice mix of cultures around. The red brick square is delightful and surrounds the visitor center. (which, btw, has a clean restroom) lots of history stories to be read. There are several benches around town to sit and enjoy.
Nice hotel, once a grand place but showing its age, however kept up to date with refurbishments. Clean and comfortable and good location in downtown. USB sockets and power points each side of the bed. Full facilities with bar, restaurant, cafe, and shop in lobby. Friendly and helpful staff.
We stayed in the tower and had a great clean comfortable room. Hotel didn't disappoint for sure. Good bar with food attached for the evening and even had pool side service which was a huge plus. Huge shout out to Taylor for taking care of us in the heat. Definitely will be back.
Great,Clean, hotel. This hotel is my go to in the area. The value is outstanding, the staff is superb and special kuddos to the housekeeping staff who are always on point. Thank you, I will be back!!
N/A on breakfast. The motel is clean and quiet with great staff and ample parking. It is easily accessible from the loop around Nacogdoches. The parking is close to the rooms.
Great place! Very clean. Everything works, including ice machines. Breakfast was good. Why does every hotel no have parking like this for trailers and RVs?
