Some of the staff were helpful and effective, but others were simply so uninterested, did not even take the feet of the chair next to the one they were sitting ong, and seemed to be annoyed that one dared to ask a question. The hotel is very noisy at night

I was surprised at the number of medical facilities.
I was surprised at the number of medical facilities. I had heard Memphis is one of the most dangerous cities in America. So, I limited my excursions to daytime only. I passed on having to park at a parking garage and having to walk to Beale Street for an evening ghost tour.

For lovers of rock and soul music, it’s a great place to visit. Lots to see and hear. Good bars and restaurants, although food is almost exclusively fried. Peabody hotel with its duck parade is a lovely place to stay, or just visit. Graceland and Sun Studio well worth visiting.

Everyday was a new surprise - botanical gardens with tulips and dogwood at peak, art museum, Elvis' Graceland, walk across the Mississippi River on old train bridge, Lorraine Motel and National Civil Rights Museum, Sun Records Studio, big city shopping with NICE departlment store, Beale Street, South Main Street District, Chucalissa village of Mississipian culture mounds and great trails, rich neighborhoods, poor neighborhoons - and did I mention all the great food (real fried chicken, hush pupplies, fried okra, grits, bar-bq, coconut cake, pecan pie, Mississippi mud pie, and microbreweries to name a few. AND the people of Memphis are very friendly and welcoming.

This is a wonderful city to visit especially if you are interested in the music scene and the beginnings of rock and roll. There are many music related museums to visit, car museums and of course Graceland - which I highly recommend going to- even if you aren’t a huge Elvis fan. The museum is so well done , it’s quite fabulous. We went in a Mojo bus tour which had a musician onboard who was also the tour guide and super knowledgeable. That was great fun, we toured Sun Studio where many great musical talent emerged from.

First trip to Memphis. Came to see Graceland.
First trip to Memphis. Came to see Graceland. Booked hotel online. Probably would not have stayed there if just driving by. Didn’t appear to be best neighborhood. But location was close to Graceland. The staff was wonderful. There was gated parking which kind of scared me thinking I needed it but thankful they had it. Breakfast was wonderful! There is a Mexican restaurant in adjoining parking lot. Very good, again kind of scared me that they used a hand scanner to check for weapons before you go in. Hotel offered shuttle to Graceland which we used , very handy. We did not take in any other attractions in Memphis but loved our tour of Graceland. As far as the city, would probably not go back but showing my age. Too many people, too much traffic, I prefer National Parks and wildlife.

I was surprised at the attitude of respect and kindness from the memphis locals. I've never experienced a more kind and welcoming city. There was so much to do and see tat I could have stayed forever. I know I will be back!
I like to start my reviews by stating I’m a former health inspector. This property is amazing. It’s a true one bedroom apartment right downtown Memphis. We were in town from Tuesday-Thursday. Location was quiet and in walking distance to most of the sightseeing spots in Memphis (National Civil Rights Museum, Gus’ Fried Chicken, Beale Street) and included free parking. The washer/dryer was a great addition to our stay.
This is an amazing hotel to stay in if you are going to Memphis! The inside of the pyramid is something to see, the store is awesome and the hotel rooms are very nice! The room was VERY clean and smelled nice. The balcony was awesome getting to look out over the store. The fresh cookies that were delivered to the room were amazing. We also loved the snack "gift basket" in the room. Couldn't have stayed anywhere nicer!
They canceled my reservation without telling me. I have talked to the person who was working here at that moment and she told me that Booking will give me my money back. After calling 4 times and talking to different booking assistant. They told me that the were relocating me and my friends: Finally, and sadly, we were no hotel to stay that night in Memphis (US). It was the worst experience of my life.
Spacious room with king size comfy beds. Nice big bathroom. Everything was super clean. Breakfast very good with healthy options. Safe parking in the rear of the hotel. Walking distance to Graceland. Easy to get on the Memphis highway system to go see sights like National Civil Rights Museum and Beale Street. Marlowe’s - a well known BBQ restaurant - is also close by.
Locaion was good, only a short walk to restaraunts and bars. If you would rather take the tram then the nearest stop is just around the corner from the hotel. Everything you come to Memphis to experience is fairly close to the hotel including Beale st, the Civil Rights museum, the Lorraine Motel and the Sun recording studios.
We had to leave the hotel , we are a family of four and booked two rooms and we ended up not staying the two nights we had booked as it was too dangerous to stay, people screaming and fighting outside our door and the carpark with cars revving engines and drugs use.
Also Prostitutes frequently coming and going
Everything! We decided to stay one more night only because of the hotel! It´s really awesome! We have been traveling for almost 20 days and it´s the best hotel we had been.
Location, bed, room, kitchen, decoration, facilities, really good taste and it seems that everything was made to make us comfortable.
I've been to hotels around the country, and by far this was the best. From the customer service desk workers(both shifts) , to the valet parking guys, southern hospitality at its finest. Location was great, room was great, this will always be my spot when I come back to Memphis.
Proper alternative for hotels in a quiet neighborhood at Memphis center. Excellent accessibility to points of interest Graceland, Memphis zoo, Soul music museum, Grizzlies FEDEX stadium and many restaurants. laundry facilities and comfort beds. Home away from home.
Such a beautiful hotel….we loved the elegant lobby and watching the duck walk. The cafe with complementary coffee in the morning was a nice touch. Within walking distance to all the wonderful downtown Memphis restaurants and nightlife.
Convenient location few minuted drive from downtown. Spacious rooms. The hotel is along a large road but quiet.
Appreciated the free inside parking including manned security guard at the entrance of the lot.
My sis and I loved the decorations, cleanliness, and comfort of the hotel. We had a wonderful timethere. The room colors and wall decorations made it all come together in Memphis. We want to come back!!!!
This hotel is better than what the previous reviews would suggest. The room was nice and appears to be newly renovated. The neighborhood was fine, not great but not bad (it's Memphis).
awesome hotel best in Memphis, located on Beale street which is great at night but has a strange atmosphere in the day, brand new hotel feel with fantastic roof bar and very nice pool area!
The hotel is located near Memphis International Airport, that's why we booked it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was equipped simple but clean.
