Never been to Ludington before but it’s a really cute town with great shops and restaurants, the beach is pristine, and everything is relatively close to the beach. Just beautiful fall colors! If you have not been to Ludington, it’s a lot less crowded than Saugatuck and less expensive.

Given the date of my excursion, I had notice from S.S.Badger they had suffered damage to their docking facility--thus could not cruise. For THEIR part, the "cruise line" was outstanding in their effort to cancel. Amazingly easy. As I write this, they should be resuming service. I travelled on the "Hwy. 10" (the car ferry) before, when it was operating in transport of rail cars and our auto. A trip rich in history. And, the people of the city have always been welcoming when we stopped at various establishments there. Being a segment of a U.S. highway, it is quite easy to travel through the city. There ARE a couple of hotels that I would not frequent again there; but only the two.

Love everthing about Ludington. The beach, downtown shops, House of Flavors, restaurtants and watching the Badger come in. It is close to Pentwater which has a go-cart park and not too far from Michigan Adventure too.

Ludington is one of our favorite places to visit. The beach is so clean and plenty of things to do around there. We love to hike in the state park, which is very safe and clean. Absolutely love the Jamesport Brewing for lunch and supper. The walk to the lighthouse is beautiful and relaxing. Plenty of shops, sand dunes and fun. We love it!

Love the restaurants especially House of Flavors and Kilwins for ice cream and shops in Ludington! The Museums are informative and fun to explore. The beach is sandy and large. Parking is close to everything. Beautiful park to watch the Badger, safe play grounds for kids to play and amazing scene to watch the sunset.

The staff was super friendly and the grounds/pool/area was well manicured. The room we were in was ground floor and had a walk out area with chairs and a grill and was close to a firepit area! We walked down the road to the city park and enjoyed a beautiful sunset on Lake Michigan! We only had to drive about 2 miles to Jamesport Brewing for dinner so the hotel is very close to everything. The next morning we hopped on the SS Badger and left for Wisconsin!

The location of Snyder’s is excellent! Love waking up and seeing Lake Michigan right there! The hotel is right by the city park and is fun to be able to walk to the lighthouse pier which is right across the street. The rooms are decent and have everything you need for a stay at the beach. The kitchenette with small sink and mini fridge and microwave is a great feature. Keeps drinks and food cold!

Convenience to Ludington in general and having Meijer's across the street including gas is big plus! Liked looking out of room on large green grassy area. So happy to have breakfast area opening up again. Nice spacious eating area too. How silly but like that the soap bars are wrapped in plastic so the covering can be used for a "soap dish".

We accidently left an important item at the hotel. We called the place and they quickly found and shipped the item to us. Thank you to housekeeping and staff involved in its return. So, friendliness, honesty and care for the well being of visitors are outstanding and appreciated.

I have never traveled with my dog before. I expected a pet friendly hotel to be at least a little run down or, frankly smelly. It was neither. The cleanliness of the facilities, friendly and helpful staff and generous size of my room exceeded my expectations.

Since we took our car on the SS Badger between Manitowoc and Ludington, this hotel was a perfect place for a few nights stay. Nice and close to the ferry terminal and in the middle of the city to walk around, if you want to.

Ask for a room in the "hotel" part - not the "motel" part with doors open to the parking lot. I felt much more secure on my stay. Room was clean and comfortable with nice size bathroom, including tub.
