I loved the enthusiasm it bring to everyone. I loved that I won $1000 my first morning when I started with $90. At the Strat.
That would be the best I can say about the Strat. I'm an older person(60) to put it truthfully your day's are becoming much shorter in your 60's. I stayed at the Strat mainly because I wanted the oppertunity to exsperience the thrill rides. When booking my stay there was no mention of the thrill rides being closed on my dates. Arrived late on first night. Next morning I'm ready to ride. This is my only full day here. Only to learn that the observation deck including the thrill rides have been rented out and im not allowed up there. As disappointing as this is I request a little discount on a rm for an additional nite stay to enjoy the rides. I received the most rude staff that could ever be..this was unheard of to request this. Even though I've seen stay 2 get one free offered. I paid $60 a night (room only) my previous nights. My discount...offer to stay an additional night was $300!!! That's insane. Plus purchase the tickets.
I just think this hotel could b more considerat to there customers, and not just about how much money they can get out of old lady's. In return they would benifit with a much larger return of customers. Greedy has carma.
I was told i could ride the following day.
I booked a room at the Horseshoe for $159. Only to return the following day to find out the main attraction was now down for repairs! What the F___!
Needless to say I'll never ride the coaster that floats off the top of the Stratosphere....

7th time in Vegas. It’s getting a bit overgrown for me.
7th time in Vegas. It’s getting a bit overgrown for me. The homeless issue is everywhere but it wasn’t as visible here as I expected. Although still extremely busy, it was less crowded in September than before.

Could've easily spent more time in Vegas as we didn't experience all of the hotels. We caught the U2 VE at the sphere and that was amazing. There are lots of shopping options, restaurants and bars to experience, and sightseeing especially the canyons and dams is a must.

there was fabulous entertainment.
there was fabulous entertainment.
Everything was very expensive
Food quality was very uneven--some excellent, and some terrible--be careful.
Very catering to 50plus travelers
I saw The Grass Roots, The Beach Boys, n Elvis impersonator, a murder mystery dinner, a Motown brunch, Michael Jackson Cirque de Soleil, the Sphere, Jerry Seinfeld---all excellent
it was too hot to walk outside
got a pedicure, which was very mediocre, and was charged $120! ouch!
Lyft is readily available and reasonably priced; but it is only permitted to pick up at designated places and you most often have to walk a huge distance to get to them
the Conservatory at the Bellagio is a delightful place to visit, and it's free! The patisserie at the Belagio has delicious food, and is ctually reasonably priced.
The Mob Museum is well worth a visit. The history of the city is show via interesting movies and engaging displays.

Brilliant, we have been 5 times and love it, some good trips, you can even do a day trip to Los Angeles, also some brilliant shows on, the best we think is Michael Jackson One, then The Rat Pack, also Cirque du Soleil O.
March 27 2024 morning I was so excited to checking with my family at this hotel .. the Receptionist was a
Asian lady her Name is Y###M# …i don't know why she was soo Rude and impatient..because the Hotel isalittle far from check in lobby, and the font on the map was so tiny。she was so rude and fast just point the spot on the map with contempt look..i was so upset my family flew long time to las vegas..that wasn't a very pleasant experience for them ..too bad
we can't wait to leave this hotel..really not friendly
good price-quality. you notice Its one of the cheaper hotels on the strip in the hotel and casino, but not to bad. would recommend. note that we checked out of RIO casino within 15 minutes because it was that bad and went to Luxor
The room was ample and the beds were comfortable. That said everything is very dated.
This hotel still offers free self parking, which is not common in other hotels on the Strip in Las Vegas.
