The house was charming and spotless. Very spacious for three adults. We walked to restaurants and there was a short drive to Longwood Gardens. The owners were accessible by email and were very responsive to a couple of questions I had ahead of time. We have no complaints and hope to reserve again next year!

Very comfortable, Warm atmosphere. A home type of feeling even though you’re away from home. Breakfast was very good. I would stay there again just to get away. Really loved that you couldn’t hear any of your neighbors in their rooms next to you

The room was extremely nice and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
We also enjoyed the little snack and coffee lounge in the main house. There was plenty of parking too.

Our trip was quick, primarily to go to the Longwood Gardens.
Our trip was quick, primarily to go to the Longwood Gardens. Was disappointed that it was closed on Tuesdays since we drove to Kennett Square on Monday and left Wednesday. We got to go on Monday but only for about 3 hours and a half. I could have stayed longer. It was beautiful and worth the trip. Next day we explored Winterthur another lovely place with a lot of history & great for relaxing & enjoying nature. Also ideal for hikers as there are a lot of hiking trails. The house tour was fascinating. Later we went into the town of Kennett Square for dinner. The town has little shops and restaurants. It was pleasant to walk around and ate dinner at The Tavola restaurant. Very nice place (outdoor seating & indoors)& food was very good. Finished off the day by using the jacuzzi at the hotel to massage our feet and back after long day of walking. We left early the next day so we filled in a lot in a short amount of time.

The Bruce Munro light installations at Longwood Gardens and the Fountain Light show with Bollywood music were unbelievable. Hagley Mansion and grounds were lovely as always, and the docents were knowledgeable and friendly.
Loved the beautiful renovation, which kept original hardwood and brick floors and the like, while updating the kitchen to top form, of this adorable 1840's National Register house in quaint historic Kennett Square. House and garden were beautifully kept and immaculate. Location was convenient to historic locales like Brandywine Battlefield and 2 hours to Gettysburg. Amazingly good ethnic restaurants within easy walking distance. Kitchen fabulous, but needed a tea kettle. No breakfast provided so NA.
We had one room of a couple in the restored carriage house. Fun, interesting building. Quiet alley off the main drag in old Kennett Square neighborhood. Convenient. Some cool buildings around. Inside was all very new, spotless, well laid out. Nice sitting area, a work area, comfy bed and pillows; nice bath; well set up kitchen. Pretty much everything we wanted and expected. Parking for a single vehicle.
Great location. Excellent cleanliness. Wonderful decor. Loved the well-stocked pots and pans in the kitchen and quality appliances. Great shower. Nice to have the games and puzzle to do. We had a very relaxing time. Wonderful that we could walk to the historic part of Kennett Square and the apartment was very convenient to drive to attractions in the Brandywine Valley. Loved our stay.
Great location to tour around this part of PA & DE & the Town of Kennett Square was charming and walkable from the house. The house was comfortable & felt like home. The rooms were good size & the kitchen modernized. The bathroom was also big with shower & a bathtub.
Comfortable, efficient, well-run hotel in a good location. Clean room, comfortable bed, and quality bath products. I'm glad they offer a QR code for tipping the housekeeping staff, since many people don't carry cash these days.
The location was perfect for us. We spent the day at Longwood Gardens and looked for a hotel close by to spend the night.
We scanned the QR code in our room to leave a tip for housekeeping and found that to be convenient.
Stayed at this place to visit Longwood Gardens. It's a short drive to the gardens. However it would have been nicer if there was a shuttle service from the hotel to the gardens which there isn't any.
We tried to get a refund even a partial due to my family coming down with covid. It was booked thru trivago and I tried to contact hotel and no response. So I was fully charged.
