Fun breweries, distilleries & great food. Don’t miss the Pecan Street brewery, they have great beer , food and service. For a different experience Altstadt is just down the road & worth the drive. The distilleries are varied in tastes. Don’t miss Ben Miliam whiskey or Real Ale Brewery & distillery in nearby Blanco. Bell Springs Winery & Brewery is a different & delightful place.
Convenient location for a wedding at a nearby winery. Plenty of space for a group of 4 adults and a baby, with room to spare for a larger group.
It was very convenient to have a high chair and pack n play available onsite. The house was well maintained and very clean throughout.
The property management company reached out throughout our stay to ensure we didn’t have any questions or problems (we didn’t need any assistance, but this was a nice gesture).
The location of the resort is close to some of the best wineries and distilleries in the Hill Country. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The living room was cozy and the fireplace was great extra detail. Check in was easy and smooth and staff were friendly. I would recommend this stay for a couple or a family with kids. The pool and hot tub area looked fun and there is a lot of outdoor activity space.
This is the cutest little house in a new neighborhood. It was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The kids loved the game room garage, the beds were very comfortable, and the house’s location is smack dab in the middle of everything. We will stay in Holy Guacamole every time we visit Johnson City.
The location was convenient to the wineries on the 290 wine trail. The room and bathroom were very spacious and stylish. The hotel provides lots of great amenities in the room like snacks, toiletries, ice in the fridge and a gorgeous pool area with a bar. The owners were very friendly & quick to respond.
Conveniently located on the Texas Wine Trail. Quiet, thoughtfully appointed rooms with comfortable beds and organic linens, organic skins are products and soft bath robes. Lovely pool and hot tub area. FAmily owners and staff are delightful and oven-fired pizza at the 290 Wine Castle is delicious!
My family stayed here one night. We just needed a place to shower and sleep. Beds were comfortable, no issues with the hot water, wood flooring instead of carpet, large TV. Overall, good value for the money and close to state park.
Stayed here for the weekend with family and friends for my 30th birthday. We wanted to be near the elephant preserve but also Fredericksburg. This was such a spacious home with an incredible backyard.
The house has a great layout. It was immaculate.The beds are comfortable, and having three bathrooms was a plus. Its location is close to restaurants and stores and is a quiet neighborhood.
The property was so very nice and so clean lots of parking and close to the town I was going to. The staff were really nice and helpful in anyway they could.
