This is a modern, comfortable and clean hotel with a good location, many restaurants around, and quick transport accessibility. I used to live in the Herndon area about twenty years ago, so my opinion may be slightly biased. Overall, there are good dining options including, every fast food option, and other chain restaurants. But, I highly recommended Jimmy's Old Towne Tavern for Buffalo style wings.

Convenient location for the airport and the metro station. Room was fine, clean and comfortable. The exterior - garden area and stairwells are dirty - need a good clean. Breakfast was very poor - very sugary snacks, nothing that appealed.

We only stayed one day in Herndon and really did not get to explore the entire area. The area we went to was jammed pack with shopping and eating options. Considering it is so close to the airport, you really are not bothered by jet noise.

We didn’t stay in the region, but we did visit the large air and space museum, which was very interesting for all age groups, and drove to some nearby historic towns. Next time, would visit some of the nearby wineries and hike, it’s so beautiful here. Previously, we visited the great falls nearby, also cool for all ages.
I loved the very friendly check-in staff...she gave me the type and location of the room that I wanted...the room was much smaller than I'm accustomed to when staying there (I go there frequently) but I was too tired to ask for another...but I would have if I had guests as it is awkward to have conversations with everyone sitting on a bed instead of a sofa and chairs...overall the room was clean, quiet and comfortable...will keep staying here for future visits to family in Herndon. 😊
We had a delay and a forced stopover in Washington, and needed to find a hotel near the airport fast. This one was a great choice, considering the distance to the airport, the convenience, the room size and the staff.
We asked for an extended check-out and the hotel provided.
The room was spacious, with everything that we needed for an emergency two-night stopover.
The location is accessible by lyft/taxi.
There is a free shuttle, with limited time (runs only from 09:00 to 22:00)
We enjoyed the location, and the hotel facilities. The front desk staff were really nice. The room was big, clean, and confortable.
The breakfast buffet is worth it for $15/person.
The shuttle left us at the airport on time. The only negative thing was that the shuttle driver was in a rush to go and slam the van door hitting my right arm. It was painful, so I recommend a little more caution with the clients.
Stayed here for several days on a business trip. The room was very large and had a kitchen included. The amount of space for the money I thought was very good. Also very good location for Herndon/Reston and Dulles Airport. Also had a good laundry room, which I utilized. Would definitely stay here if I am in the area again.
Lots of parking and good layout of hotel. Super friendly staff! Got 2 complimentary water bottles upon check in. We also enjoyed a warm, healthy breakfast buffet with lots of delicious options. Comfortable hotel with nice rooms, great bed, and modern facilities. Walking distance from the Silver Line metro or you can take a bus to the metro from right across the street. Metro is a few stops away from Dulles Airport and goes straight to Downtown. Good value with a decent breakfast.
The hotel is in a great location for walking DC, the National Mall wasn’t far, and the surrounding neighborhood appeared to be safe for walking. There were also a few CVS stores near by for groceries or forgotten toiletries. The rooms were large and clean, comfortable. Staff was great.
Bed was very comfortable, check-in quick, the surrounding area is well stocked with restaurants and grocery stores, parking is convenient and feels safe. Easy to get from/to the airport by car; a bit of a long walk to the nearest subway station, but doable without suitcases.
My room was as expected. Hyatt Place Dulles East is my "go-to" hotel when I'm in the area. My room was as it always is, perfect. This is why I love this hotel like I do. My company preferred another hotel but I come here the price, room and location are wonderful.
Location is not far from the airport. Room is clean. Breakfast is enough to provide energy for a day. Just crossing the street there are a few restaurants to satisfy your taste in the evening. Parking lot is spacious. In general, the hotel is good to stay.

Everything was fine, like every time we stay here when flying in to IAD. The included breakfast was excellent and unusually good during these times when many hotels are using covid as an excuse to cheapen it.

This was a good value and very convenient location. The Herndon Metro station is about 1.5 miles away. It is very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The room had everything I needed.

The positioning of Hotel was good. Some of the staff were excellent and some not very interested to make you feel welcome. The bathroom shower in the bath was not comfortable.
