I loved the kindness and availability of the owners to answer our doubts and questions. They are very friendly people and do not interrupt your stay with their presence, even living near the house. The place was immaculate and organized. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature was perfect. The bathroom is clean and has hot water. Truly, it is a cozy space with privacy. My favorite space was the enclosed porch. We had a nice evening drinking a couple of beers on that porch. It's a very quiet neighborhood, so you need to be considerate of the surroundings. I will stay here again if I return one day. Thanks for everything!

The property was perfectly situated to show for quick trips into Hilo, to oceanfront sunrises, and to the black sand beaches that begin in Kalapana. Chris was very friendly, as was his dog (Roxy), and had some great recs for things to do both nearby and further afield. The room itself was the perfect size for a solo traveler and had a very large closet in which to store luggage and clothes. It would also work just fine for couples. The common spaces were nice and sizeable with the kitchen having everything one would need to make some decent home-cooked meals. As far as a vehicle parking went, parking was ample and he even allowed me to have a spot under the awning next to his.

The place was clean, easy to find, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the two of us. The place was conveniently located near many attractions, places to eat, and the other renters seemed to be courteous and respectful.

It is located in a quiet neighborhood. It is very peaceful. It had a wonderful enclosed patio as well as three very nice bedrooms and two full baths. Kitchen was nice as well. It was close to Hilo.
