Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach, hotel in Gulf Shores

Located on the Gulf of Mexico, this Orange Beach Hilton Garden Inn hotel is next to Gulf State Park. Features include free WiFi, an indoor and an outdoor pool, 2 hot tubs with a poolside tiki bar.

I will not return to this hotel nor will i recommend it. They charge you for EVERYTHING. $10 for parking and $18 for a breakfast that was cold. They served potatoes and egg and bacon, BUT it was cold. The people working at the reception were distracted and not attentive. The conditioner bottle was empty. So overall, a meh experience.

There are no places on the beach with food or drinks available, like tiki bars beach side restaurants at least not that we seen,. The beach itself is very nice. There are many places to go and shop and eat if you don't mind driving around a little. Overall a good area.

We come here annually for the NCAA beach volleyball championships and for general relaxation. The weather was beautiful, the first time that it hadn't rained in our many trips here. The beach is clean, although parking close to the main beach is only moderately adequate. There are many excellent restaurants in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach and the choice of cuisine seems endless. If you like "southern" Mexican food this is the place for you as there is a disproportionate number of Mexican restaurants in this area. All in all, I recommend the Gulf Shores area as a great vacation destination point.

Gulf Shores is a beautiful area.

Gulf Shores is a beautiful area. The residents were very friendly in every establishment we went to. We ate at a different restaurant each night and never had a bad meal. There were plenty of things to go and do during the day but we enjoyed relaxing on the beach each day.

    We just loved the beach.

We just loved the beach. We also visited other areas like the USS Alabama and Fort Morgan. We enjoyed the beach as it was not super crowded, we spent an entire day on the beach and was able to rent an umbrella and chairs for the entire day (great price). We did want to fish, but were a bit confused as to where to do that. We thought the pier but it was closed. We also have a service dog and the beach stated no dogs (we do understand why) but then we got to the beach and see people walking their dogs? The beach is soft and white and just fun to play in as well. The water was chilly but it was early march. We did get in though...because its the beach! Lifeguards were on duty most of the days as it was quite windy and seas were really choppy a couple of days. We flew our kite, built sandcastles, looked for seashells. Took night walks on the beach. We found great places to eat. Ralph and Kakoos over by the USS Alabama, Acme Oyster company (chargrilled oysters are a must), and the Gulf shore Steamer.....OMGOODNESS BEST restaurant!!! We had a seafood platter for 4 (there were 2 of us) and yes we ate it all, crablegs, shrimp, oysters, muscles, corn, potatoes, appetizer of crab cakes. oh and some alcholic drinks...yessss! and topped it off with keylime pie! This was a great rip!

Plenty of dining and shopping locations, and great beaches. Too many great dining places to name, we tried a different restaurant almost every day and all were great and reasonable priced. Getting around Gulf Shores was very easy walking, driving, or biking.

Beautiful home, awesome views of the beach, sand, and sunsets even though construction was going on. No doubt, wish they would have already been moved out, but we still got to enjoy ourselves. Plan to stay there in the future.

We loved the hotel's location right on the beach with its own walkway access to the beach. The room was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family. There is also a warm outdoor pool that was great for the kids to swim in after being in the salty ocean. There are great restaurants in walking distance. A great coffee shop down the street. This was such a great place. We will definitely be coming back next year at this location

This hotel is always great, my family or me alone stay here multiple times a year, and have for many years. The location is great, right across from the beach and close to everything in Gulf Shores. The place is clean and comfortable, staff is friendly, and the price is normally reasonable. Small continental type breakfast in the morn, always a good selection of coffee available day and night.

The location was perfect, and the size and comfort were perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed. It was super clean. The beach right by the property was perfect, so we didn't have to take the car anywhere. Plus, there is a small grocery store to the left of the property. All needs taken care of without getting in your vehicle. Plenty restaurants around, too.

The location, away from other hotels, and adjacent to beautiful beach, sea and state park (with beautiful lake, trails, and bird life). The pool. Having bunk beds in room. The coffee and pool bar, both service provided and quality of the food. The "eco" features of the building and hotel.

The Lodge at Gulf Shores is at an incredible location, right on the beach. We had a room on the city view side, however, the views of the park and water inlet were great. There is a dog park right across the road from the hotel. One of the best we have been to with our dog.
