Had a horrible experience because the snow storm came in fast and hard! Waze took us down a back road to find a crappy hotel called the Mountain View inn- we couldn’t make it up one of the hills in the snow so we had to call for police help. The officer was very helpful and followed me and my son to make sure we got back to a main road once we got turned around.

I dislike Greensburg.
I dislike Greensburg. If I didn't have business to attend to there I wouldn't bother going. I am native to the area and glad I moved away. I pity anyone who is stuck there and can't move away. Taxes too high. Wages too low. Bad politics. State is controlled by Pittsburgh and Philly, and both cities are trash.

The mountain views and country drives are beautiful.
The mountain views and country drives are beautiful. People are very friendly. The Westmoreland Mall is exceptional and Ligonier, which is nearby, has a lot of history and cute shops. Would highly recommend Idlewild Park also. It's a great water and amusement park for families.

Greensburg is a surprisingly larger town than we expected.
Greensburg is a surprisingly larger town than we expected. The locals are friendly and down to earth. It has all the regular options of a larger city for restaurants and general shopping, but there are great local eateries as well. There's fun things to do close by in neighboring Latrobe. The Arnold Palmer golf course, if you can, wonderful Mister Rogers and St. Vincent College Campus, plus various attractions and oddities along the Lincoln Highway (Hwy 30). You'll enjoy driving through neighborhoods as many keep their homes very attractive, there's lots to enjoy just seeing how these nestled towns live!
Breakfast not available. Maid service not available. Staff very arrogant. Have stayed at this hotel many times. Will not stay again. Learned that a lesser hotel, the Holiday Inn down the street served breakfast and provided maid service. We were not advised of no normal service until check in. Since it was a holiday weekend it was too late to find another hotel. If no service was available, that should have been stipulated at time of booking.
There was hot coffee available in the lobby area. This location is currently under renovation, so it could get a little noisy during the morning hours. The staff for the most part was friendly. I liked the fact that someone monitored the desk most of the time. If you didnt see them at the desk they were in the room near it. It is close to the mall and eating places.
Clean and comfortable. The room was a bit dated, but everything was clean and the bed was nice. It really doesn't matter what color or design the furniture is as long as its clean and comfortable. Will use this motel again if I am traveling in the area for work.
The breakfast was by far the best I've had in American motel/hotels. Beds were comfortable, rooms were large and well furnished and the bathroom was particularly big. Even my parked car had a great view :) of the mountains.
Large comfortable rooms, very clean, friendly , excellent staff and management and centrally located! Good breakfast. Hotel does a very good job and run as tough it was family owned due to the excellent managers and staff!
Great hotel for dogs. I was traveling to attend a dog show. The first floor room was close to the front door and the potty area was large with plenty of light. Staff were courteous and everything worked in the room.
Staff was excellent - top rating for the staff. Very helpful and nice. Location is very good - easy to walk to breakfast, dinner locations nearby and shops. Garden area in back of hotel pretty and relaxing.
Stayed at the hotel, for a Seton Hill University college visit, and room was very comfortable, beds firm, and firm pillows as well. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Staff we're very friendly and courteous.
The breakfast was in a nice location in the hotel and the food variety was excellent. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious.
