Do not book this motel! The room is dirty and it smells really bad. The Neighborhood is scary, we don’t feel safe so we do the check-out 2 min after check-in and the girl at the desk tell us she was sorry and that we will be refound in 3 working day but at the Moment we didn’ t have our money back and they don’t answer to our messages.

We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Fresno. The interior is nice, with a fresh renovation that gives it a modern feel. The breakfast was good, though it could use more meat options. There are convenient places to work with a laptop, and the WiFi is reliable.

I stayed at the Fairfield for the first time. When I was going to arrive early I called the property and they said my room was all ready and I could come in anytime. That was great because I was going to have surgery and I had no idea when I be able to arrive. This hotel very close to where I was having surgery. There’s restaurants very close. The hotel lobby was clean. They had breakfast. My room was very nice and clean. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip.

I’m never going back to Fresno! They should level the whole place and start fresh. Especially the tower district. Actually since I’m never going back, let’s move all the homeless people there. The crappy roads won’t be a problem, for people pushing a grocery cart or riding a bike.

Fresno has more to offer than many from outside the area realize. From this location you can access the mountains and Yosemite, get a sense of California’s breadbasket, go shopping and experience many types of restaurants, worthwhile if you are visiting from a less populated areas, buy a car, and any other activities not listed here.

Lots to see and do. The zoo was a great place, but there were a lot of animals missing. There was a Japanese garden that was simply amazing! Lots of shopping and tons of food choices! If you're into cigars there are a number of good lounges to visit. Too many one-way streets for my liking. But using a navigation app really makes it pretty easy to get around.

Fresno has grown and changed a lot. The Riverpark area is very nice with numerous shops, bar & grills, 2 movie theaters and landscaped very nice. Barrel Tavern was kid & dog friendly environment with long stone tables perfect for board game playing. They have several board games available for use.
hotel did not honor the booking.com reservation. i drove 30 minutes there and when i arrived the place was almost completely empty, they said they had no staff to clean the rooms, yet they allowed booking.com to reserve a room only 30 minutes previously. this hotel obviously has serious staff problems, but they should have reported this to booking.com, and booking.com should protect its customers better from bad properties
The room was in an upper floor. It was relatively quiet considering. The room faced the convention center which was nice, because that is why we were in town. The location of the hotel was perfect, right across the street from the convention center. So we got to the hotel, were able to walk to go get some food, and then go to the convention center for our show and just walk back.
The hotel is an orchard! It's beautiful outside with little patios next to the rooms under every kind of citrus imaginable, which are offered to guests in a big fruit bowl at breakfast. It is right next to the Forestiere Underground orchard which we didn't know about but now I tell everyone to go there if you happen to be in Fresno.
We had a “directors suite”. It was quite spacious, but furniture very simple. The airconditioning worked well. Bed was very comfy. Shower was the best I had in the past 2 weeks in motels/hotels in this price range. Also the staff was very friendly. So, despite the “negative” points below, good value for the money!
The landscaping is beautiful. The pool area is really nice. The restaurant in the hotel is really nice and the one next door (Annex Kitchen) is awesome. The hotel rooms are nice and big. The layout of the hotel is gigantic. I really enjoy the deluxe rooms in the single story buildings. The staff is very nice too.
Once we checked in we we left! The sheets were stained. The bathroom was dirty. They must be taking govt money to house people! The lobby occupants were sketchy at best! While the staff was very sympathetic and accommodating, we left and went to another safer cleaner hotel!

eggs, sausage and potatoes along with usual toast and cereals. Plenty of parking available when we visited. Great location for travelling through Fresno.
