The entire stay made me feel dirty and uncomfortable. Place was a trash hole. Hot tub was too hot. Oool was sooo dirty and no towels. Food was horrible. Staff was on hard drugs. I wish I coul d get a refund and delete that stay from my memories.

Everything else including, cleanliness, view, and all the staff was great, the room was amazing, breakfast was good, the later start time and later end time for breakfast was helpful. Late check outs are a plus (noon). I would definitely go back, kids had a blast.

I absolutely had an amazing experience at this hotel, I was skeptical as I've had horrible experiences at best western pluses before but this exceeded even the best hotel I've stayed at.

I really like it here. I have stayed here on a few occasions (both for work and leisure). Always quiet and other guests seem to be happy. Staff here are so courteous - they need pay raises!
All stores, shopping, etc. are all so close. The Key Cafe is right next door and has the best food! Not to mention the "loaded bloody mary" -
Rooms have always been clean, with an abundance of towels, etc.
I just can't say enough - I'm very impressed. Nothing bad to say - just please don't raise your rates

The entire staff were pleasant and helpful.
The entire staff were pleasant and helpful. The room I stayed in was very clean; plenty of towels and toiletries; very quiet in the hallways; cleaning staff was respectful and quiet while cleaning other rooms during the day. The hotel is so close to all kinds of shopping, restaurants, and other stores. In walking distance of almost everything. Keys Cafe right across the parking lot has great food at great prices; and gives a discount to guests of the hotel!
I don't have one thing to complain about -- very satisfied with my stay.

Daughter & family live there so have visited quite often.
Daughter & family live there so have visited quite often. Decided to stay there and the grandkids stayed with me. Their grandpa’s funeral was that morning in WBL so this was a fun break for them. They swam and went in the hot tub and made a sad day better. We went to supper at Vanelli’s (not sure on spelling) - kids choice between that or Norman Quack! So full of beautiful nature!
Easy check-in, location, amenities, and continental breakfast. Lots of parking and well lit parking. Large spacious room and comfortable bed. A/C worked great and was relatively quiet. Easy access from freeway and one exit from downtown Forest Lake. Great view of the racetrack from the second floor. They were practicing the first morning when we were there. Fun to watch them warm up, and some just raced around the track. I wanted to come again on race night and bet on them. We didn't have time to use the pool or casino.
Very clean. The breakfast was a typical hotel buffet breakfast but everything was very well stocked and lots of choices. They even had warm cookies in the lobby when we checked in. Also thought the beds were very comfortable. The heater worked great which is important in January in Minnesota.
Breakfast and coffee was great, pool and hot tub was very nice (loved having the showers and soap right there), the room was very spacious and clean, guest laundry was the best of any hotel I’ve stayed at. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again!
Flying back from Arizona with a stop at Mall of America and heading to Grand Rapids. Wanted to get out of Twin Cities so chose Forest Lake. A helpful, pleasant person at desk for check in. It was clean, easy to find and also had a good breakfast selection.
Loved the hotel and the staff. Friendly and helpful. I had fun in the pool too. They were changing the water in the spa. Horse racing was a blast, the only thing I wish the food was better. Great price but better quality is needed.
Nice that this hotel is attached to the casino/racetrack. New, clean and modern and quiet. Nice Keurig in room to have coffee before breakfast opened. We were able to check in early.
This beautiful hotel is in a perfect place to stay when visiting family. If we had needed breakfast (we ate with family) the availability was really nice.
The hotel was located 5 minutes away from lakeside park, great for the 4th of july to watch fireworks as well as plenty restaurants around to choose from
