This motel is extremely clean and very accommodating. I ended up staying 4 days longer than expected due to truck breaking down. Marmies Chevy/GMC worked miracles to get me going plus Braums were just across the street. The motel staff kept me in the same room, shuffling reservations to do so. I will stay here anytime I am within 60 miles. I would highly recommend this location for your next stay. AND THEY ARE VERY PET FRIENDLY.
The town didn’t have much there. The Hotel owner said a New Mexican Restaurant had opened just down the street, so we walked there. It was in a building in the basement. The food was okay, but the building itself was iffy!

Ellinwood is a destination that we plan to bring a couple of friends with us this fall to see. I think the tunnel tours would be fun and the town is a charming little out of the way place to spend a leisurely day. Didn't stay long enough this time to see much but plan to next time.
