I love the Rocket Inn. I love it so much that I cut my drives to and from Las Cruces short just so I can stay here. Very fun upgrade of a classic roadside motel. I especially like how quiet it is-thick walls, and traffic on the busy street completely dies down at night.

The pelican was a very neat experience that has a great South of the Border Spanish by it was very quiet in beds were very comfortable. I was very happy to see that it had a kitchen with a full size refrigerator stove sink and some dishes pretty much everything you would need if you were going to cook it's close to it a lot of things and if you are traveling with someone or have a child it's almost like this place has a one bedroom and then a separate bedroom there is a wall between the two bedrooms it's not just 2 two beds right together. The only thing that probably could have used a little updating is the shower in the bathroom in general the toilet is very close to the sink and it's very small but that is my only complaint I will be visiting the Pelican again

This is such a beautiful and private location in the heart of a unique and fun town. It is like staying in a functional museum. Inspiring, relaxing and spacious. Close to downtown. I was able to study, visit with family, see the sites and get in some much needed downtime and soul searching. We were so blessed to stay 2 days and would again when we come through. It was home base while we were in T or C.

Beautiful lake...downside was all restaurants, etc were limited due to COVID-19. Ordered takeout from Los Arcos and it was amazing...tried to order again the next night but it was already after closing time. Definitely give them a try if in the area.

We are in the process of buying some property in Elephant Butte. Nice small town vibe, quiet, no traffic, and everybody waves to each other.
Great fishing and water sports. Close to many historical sites and outdoor activities.
Decent food options in T or C, although there are a couple restaurants in town.
Staff was very nice. Room was clean, but coffee maker had old bags in it and hadn't been cleaned out. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were a little small. Fridge and microwave, both clean. View was great. I was the only person in the whole hotel. Felt very lucky to have such nice privacy. Easy access to nice walks. I enjoyed my stay. No restaurants available nearby on Monday or Tuesday. Had to order pizza, Pizza Hut delivered to my door.
The house is very well kept, clean and is well equipped/supplied. It is spacious and has that unique inviting atmosphere. The owner is exceptionally kind, courteous and accomodating. I have now found a nice new place to stay during our frequent visits to Elephant Butte and/or Truth or Consequences.
I was so very disappointed in this place. I thought this was gonna be a fun overnight stay with having the restaurant, spa and pool with the lake view. Nothing was advertised about all that being shutdown or I wouldn’t of stayed. Landscaping and everything else has gone to the dumps.
Justin & Chris were fantastic! The location was just perfect being just a few minutes from the boat ramp at Lyons beach. The view of the lake is unmatched by any other hotel in TorC. Overall everything was great and we plan on staying there a lot more in the future.
