My partner and I loved this place. It's a converted historic home divided into suites with modern furnishings. With respect to the suites, there is ample space for more than two people. You can fit three or four people if you use the pull out couch bed. There is also a large kitchen for cooking, and the place is close to two convenience stores in case you need anything. Though, I do recommend a car if you want to venture outside of Hudson's main drag (Warren Street).

What an amazing place and such a great surprise !! It is an old steel factory converted into a hotel with the perfect mix of maintaining the original character while being a newly renovated 4-star hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, and we loved our tour of the reception hall along with a history lesson of the original purpose.
The room was very spacious with high ceilings, the bed very comfortable and breakfast included with a waterfront view was an extra bonus.
We will definitely stay there again on our next travels.
The James Newbury Hotel and Coxsackie are not to be missed. The hotel is new and beautiful. Staff were so frindly and helpful. A good continental breakfast is provided every morning. Well designed and our room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Don't miss the shops and restaurant. Loved they were a few minutes walk from hotel. Location is close to everything. We will be returning.

Beautiful space, neat electric blackout curtains and the hotel bar looked amazing. Missed out on yoga class and Pilates equipment but definitely want to give both a shot. Beautiful decor with a unique feel, cozy. A place to return to.
The hotel is set in Coxsackie in an idyllic position by the river. The views are lovely and it's very peaceful and quiet. The hotel itself is modern, our room was very large and clean. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
I loved how clean and spacious the rooms were. The hotel is right next to the river so you get this amazing view. I went during Thanksgiving and the hotel staff was helpful in letting us know which restaurants were open for dinner.
