We didn't visit sites due to the circumstances of our visit, and the storm which passed over with thundersnow, snow and
cold temperatures on Saturday. However the view of the mountains from the window in the room was wonderful.

There's a lot to offer in Colorado Springs, but it may not be all within walking distance so plan to have a vehicle or access to a car share service if you want to get to the downtown area, or hiking from certain areas.

We went to Colorado Springs because it is the base point for all of the close by attractions. We went to the Garden of the gods, multiple times, drove up to Pikes peak, saw the Indian cliff dwellings.
We stayed at the Garden of the Gods resort, the resort was awesome.

I love Colorado Springs.
I love Colorado Springs. From now on, instead of flying out of Denver airport, we will stay at the Radisson and fly out of Colorado Springs. Free parking, free shuttle and a small easy airport vs the nightmare of DIA. We ate at The Airplane restaurant right across the parking lot for an interesting experience along with good food and cocktails

House and ground keeping worked hard to keep that place in order. Coffee area looked like a disaster with trash and buds everywhere at 6.30am but got all cleaned up by 8am. Same for the entrance areas outside. Where trash, buds and spit where all over at night. But it got scrubbed and sanitized later in the morning.
You get what you pay for. Cheap and older place but perfectly fine for one night stay while traveling/ leaving from the airport. Rooms inside were fairly clean. All appliances worked. Bed was comfy.
Clean, simple, no fuss room. Pretty quiet property. I had a mountain view from the bench in front of my room. Very nice owners, and you’re right between Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City, and close to Colorado Springs, so the location is quite nice. It’s not brand new, so it isn’t immaculate, but it’s well tended to, and it gives it a touch of careworn charm. Super reasonably priced. It really gives you the experience of an old school motel, rather than the sterile, bland experience of a new chain hotel.
Thanks, Merissa for sharing your tiny Colorado Springs House!
it looks so nice, as if it it comes out of the 'fixer upper' series :-)
We we were abosolutly positive surprised how calm and safe the East Cucarra Street is! And direct in front of the house is a street lantern, so it is bright and safe in the night :-)
The House is bigger than described: I estimate the bigger Sleeproom 16m², the smaller 12m², the kitchen 15m², the living room 14m² and the bath 5m²
NOTHING. The hotel was not as advertised on Priceline. They were under renovations. The room did not have a smoke detector, furniture was missing or in disrepair, room was dirty due to tracking in from hallway which had no carpet. We cancelled immediately due to not being safe, but have so far been unable to get back all of our money. We will continue to pursue this when we are home from our trip.
Old fashioned motel outside, very modern rooms inside. Conveniently located in one the shopping street of Colorado Springs, this motel is great both for business and leisure.
The room was very clean, spacious, recently renovated, with all the amenities one would need.
The owner is super friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast bag is a very nice touch.
I would definitely stay here again.
I picked the hotel because of its close location to the airport as I usually have early flights.
The breakfast has a good variety so you will be able to find something as a non-meat eater. For example, Oatmeal, fruit, potatoes and baked goods. They also have gluten-free baked goods. My experience has been fine. Everyone is friendly, accommodating and helpful.
Loved the attrium setting, Bar and food, and the breakfast was better than any other hotel we have stayed at. Bed was confortable. Good location, close to Pikes Peak and the Garden of Gods.
Nicely located in a peaceful neighborhood, 10 minute drive from downtown Colorado Springs.
Breakfast included, very fair for the money.
Amazing staff! Extra helpful and friendly :)
First time in Colorado Springs! Great hotel and helpful staff! Love that it was within walking distance of dinner and ice cream! Memories were made with our family of 5!
Great location in Colorado Springs and a well kept and comfortable hotel. The breakfast was excellent and food and drinks were available for purchase in the evening.
