We were there to register and score for the boat races (Watermania). The site is wonderful and the Chamber of Commerce is enthusiastic and good to work with. We visited some of the shops in town and enjoyed eats at a few restaurants. Love the water ski show and hope to return to enjoy another one. Great small town vibes!

Local restaurants do not offer food delivery, so make sure you plan ahead to order take-out or dine in somewhere. 2 places currently closed: Caddyshack (while owners on vacation) & Brass Rail, while under remodeling/construction. Local grocery store, KJ's, is open while under remodeling/ construction. Best place to get souvenir shirts & sweatshirts is the downtown Antiques Store. Fostops has an excellent variety of craft beers, make sure to check them out while in town.

The Community maybe small but it has a lot to offer. You have to visit the Bakery for all their food. and the antique store for more treasures. The grocery store has everything you need, priced right. There are several restaurants that can be reached even with a boat.

The suite was very nice, and roomy. Hotel is close to bars and restaurants in town. Friendly service, fast check-in and check-out. Breakfast was good.
There isn't a shuttle service, but would be nice if they did offer that eventually for friends and family to resorts and campgrounds in Chetek.
