Breakfast looked good both days. They didn’t have options that meet my rather restricted dietary needs the first day. But the second day there was plenty of fruit along with all the breads and pastries and I was able to enjoy more than the coffee. Another visitor said that the food varies and there is often a wider variety after a wedding the day before.
It was as nice of a dog friendly room as I’ve ever stayed in.

The breakfast was amazing and the room was gorgeous. It's a beautiful place to stay when there are things going on in the town and there.

Good experience with front staff both check in and out . Rooms were easy to get too, clean other than the chairs in both rooms had a lot of stains which was a turn off.Maybe update the furniture some. Coffee pot, microwave and mini fridge in room. Overall it was a good experience other than the furniture.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Walk to museums and restaurants. Felt very safe in the area. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Would definitely stay there again.

This spot has a rich historical past. Arrange your stay during summer events if that appeals to you.
I just googled pet friendly lodging so I didn't know anything about this Inn before I came. This was a surprise to me. Just lucked into something great. But I do like historical settings.
I could feel the energy of all those great minds that gathered in the past. My dog is in love with Big Water so she was happy too. We ate the included breakfast on the porch in the am before we departed.
