We liked everything! The location: 2 blocks from the quietest and most beautiful beach I have ever seen, restaurants and supermarket all 5 minutes away. The room was spacious, everything was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, even our 11-year-old son enjoyed the sofa bed. The pool was very good, the facilities in general were very clean, well painted, everything looked very good. The reception staff incredibly friendly. It is a pet friendly hotel as well as the beach, so our dog also enjoyed his stay. It has a small patio to take pets out which is also clean and pleasant, and all pet owners try to keep it in the same conditions we found it: completely clean. We had such a great time that we already booked again to spend the 4th of July on the beach!!

Great location , very quiet as hotel is currently refurbishing its restaurant and bar . A short easy walk to beach and comfortable beach chairs were available at no charge. Staff were exceptionally friendly , helpful and courteous.

The bed was so close to the wall that it was hard to get into it. There was only one small lamp on one bed stand. We didn't even use the safe in the room and yet we got charged extra for it and there was an additional fee charged to park in their parking lot which should be provided for guests who already pay enough to stay there and the breakfast was a bagged breakfast. I wouldn't stay there again.

Atlantic Beach, NC is a wonderful vacation spot. Lots of restaurants close by, beach is beautiful and clean. We were treated well by the locals and everyone was extremely kind. Police presence and security cameras in town helped to make us feel safe.

Visited the aquarium which was very nice. Did hour and half cruise from Beaufort to Moorehead. Very nice captain and deck hand. Saw dolphins at Ft Macon . The beach was not crowded . Ate at Cox's restaurant where the locals go. Food was good and reasonably priced. My husband loves Sanitary seafood restaurant and he said the shrimp and grits were excellent. I'm allergic to seafood so I had steak and it was perfectly cooked.

Beautiful beach with very nice accommodation but not overrun and not a big party town, which we enjoyed very much. Lots to see and do nearby and the whole area is very family friendly. This goes from nice state parks to a very nice aquarium that is only a short drive away.
For us, the main attraction was the beach and the ocean, which we enjoyed daily while there.
Local fish and seafood is served in many restaurants in the area and tastes great.
We plan to go back!

I use to own a timeshare here but gave it up due to ridiculous extra fees then kept adding on but wanted to visit one more time. Boy was that a mistake. They have really let the housekeeping & lawn care go down hill really bad. Would not recommend this place . Due to the dirty rooms, dirty dishes & dirty bedding & the location I was put.

Atlantic Beach is a great Beach town.
Atlantic Beach is a great Beach town. There are easy public access points. Fort Macon is also a fun place to visit and has access to the beach. Our favorite restaurant there is the Shark Shack! Be aware it is closed on Sunday and Monday. Those were the days we were there last, so we missed eating there on this trip. We just need to go back. The "vibe" at Atlantic Beach is family-friendly and welcoming. There is just enough "to do" without having so much that it becomes a distraction from the beach. Can't wait to return!

Atlantic Beach is beautiful. The beaches are nice and clean, with plenty of seashells to go around. We stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel, we drive to places for the most part, but you can walk to stores nearby such as Dairy Queen and Dollar General. There's also a town park with a playground and splash pad for the little ones. Within that park there's also a mini golf place. We also went to the Atlantic Beach boardwalk, much smaller than what I expected but it's also a beach with volleyball nets and showers to rinse off the sand from your body. There's also an ice shop nearby too that sells great frozen icees
The hotel was in walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. It was a darling place and the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice, they were in continuous contact with me through email making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The buildings were all really cute colors too. Will definitely stay again!
Everything!!! This was the best experience I've ever had at a hotel/suite. The staff was delightful, the location was perfect, the room was beyond my expectations to add the room was very clean. The view was breath taking. I'm trying to make the Palm Suites my new yearly go to spot. Truly a diamond in the box of treasures among the South Eastern Coast.
I have been coming to AB every summer for almost 30 years (my entire life), this was the first time I’ve stayed at Island Inn due to needing a pet friendly hotel and I regret not choosing to stay there years ago! Location was perfect, room was amazing and private. Pool location and cleanliness was phenomenal. Most definitely will be our new spot!

You provide for yourself but I have been traveling to Atlantic beach and staying there for many years and have stayed almost every hotel ..motel there. ...lets just say its not on beach front but only a short walk to it

The Vacasa staff was super friendly and helpful. The text updates leading up to our stay were helpful. The property we stayed at (though not the one originally booked) was pretty good and just steps from the beach, and had views from both bedrooms.
The hotel is great! Friendly staff and rooms/suites are spacious and comfortable. Maybe a silly thing but what I liked in the bathroom was that you could choose between a hand held shower or a rain shower. Appreciated 👍
The property was extremely close to the beach, very clean, and it was very easy to get too. Parking was also great with lots of spaces and right next to the condo. The area was beautiful and the people were great!
