The hotel is downtown, about 15 minutes walking from the Olympic Park and rhe World of CocaCola. It was clean and the bed relatively comfortable. The staff was pleasant (especially Mrs Bernice from the Market). There are vending machines and ice machines on each floor and The Market/Starbucks on the 3rd floor with a selection of sandwiches, salads, drinks and coffee, and a snack and souvenir shop in the ground floor. The breakfast is paid apart ($17 for fruit and bread/bagels with the option of strawberry philadelphia, butter or strawberry jam, or a full buffet for $21, which is all the previous plus watery scrambled eggs or equally watery omelette, burger patties, bacon, potato and oatmeal/porridge). The hotel also has a pool and a gym which I havent been to

Home to the world’s busiest airport and a vibrant arts scene, Atlanta has an important role in US history. The gateway to the American South, it is the home of the barbecue and hundreds of peach trees that make it a surprisingly green city.
Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is the main arrival point, and Booking.com has an excellent range of Atlanta hotels near the airport. However, the main sights are clustered around Downtown. Near the gold-domed Georgia State Capitol is Underground Atlanta, a shopping centre in the old underground railway.
Just north are a few hotels near Georgia Dome, a huge sports venue, and to its north-east is Centennial Olympic Park, commemorating the 1996 Olympic Games. On one edge of this park are the CNN headquarters which offer behind-the-scenes tours. Opposite is the New World of Coca-Cola where you can sample all their worldwide products. Next door is the massive Georgia Aquarium, the world’s largest indoor aquarium.
In the Auburn district is Martin Luther King’s former home and church, and a museum dedicated to him and the Civil Rights movement. A few blocks south in Grant Park is the city zoo, and the Atlanta Cyclorama and museum, detailing the city’s Civil War battles.
More national history is in the Carter Center, and the former home of Margaret Mitchell, author of ‘Gone with the Wind’.
We LOVE Atlanta! Enough that we will be moving there!
We LOVE Atlanta! Enough that we will be moving there! My favorite spot of the weekend was the Ponce City Market. It was so fun and had so many cute food options. The traffic over all was not horrible, either. We chose to go through town rather than on the interstate at times so it took a little longer but there is so much to see!

Atlanta is such a great city especially for a large one.
Atlanta is such a great city especially for a large one. I had a medical emergency in a Waffle World downtown. The staff was so helpful and nice, plus the people in the restaurant went out of their way to make sure my wife and I were OK. The manager even followed up to make sure I was doing well. Turns out it was a reaction to cold medicine, but this type of concern I don't see in my small town. I'd certainly go back to Atlanta.

I have lived in the Atlanta area all my life and have always loved it. I will say the area around Underground needs to be cleaned up and something done about the homeless. I feels unsafe. The rest of Atlanta is awesome as always.

The location that were rated at high online and by others visiting Atlanta were not up to par with my standards. The food was average, nothing special. The service at hotels and restaurants was not impressive.

We reserved the home 4 months in advance and it was confirmed. About a week before our reservation, I started trying to reach the owner for check-in instructions. Messages sent. Texts sent. No response. The night before our reservation, I called and female answered stating someone else was already in the home but she would look into it and call me back immediately. I never received a return call. So the day of our reservation (when we booked 4 months in advance) we were left with no lodging and were forced to pay triple for a last minute hotel in the area. I DO NOT recommend this rental or owner.

I LOVE Atlanta, Southern Hospitality is SO real.
I LOVE Atlanta, Southern Hospitality is SO real. The people we met were so friendly and helpful.
There's so much to do in the city that we didn't get to do everything on our list. But the great thing is - it means we have a reason to come back and visit again.
Getting around was super easy with Uber, initially, we were thinking of getting a rental car but so glad we didn't. Catching Ubers without having to worry about parking was such a relief.
Food in ATL, man... SO many great spots. My favorite food spot was FOX BROTHERS BBQ, the Brisket was Chefs Kiss, so tender, juicy & fatty. SO good!. We also loved Hattie B's, NFA Burger & Popeyes as well.
The room was great! It's a suite and way cheaper than the hotels in downtown Atlanta. The hotel did accodomate our request for a room on first floor near entrance. You get a separate living room and bedroom, two big screen tvs, a huge bathroom with both a clean tub and shower. Only thing to know is when taking a shower, the water flows to the bottom of the door so when you swing the shower door open, water will come out on the floor. No biggie at all. Still a 10/20 experience. The checkout man Gus was very friendly and personable.
The front desk ladies were absolutely great , very welcoming , communicated very thoroughly, even recommended events around in the area. Will definitely be back. Valet attendants were on point as well. Our vehicle was kept safe valet option only. Very cozy environment literally in the heart of downtown Atlanta , the room was fabulous, we almost over slept because the window shade literally did not let a peak of the sun sneak through. Highly recommend for this hotel stay in downtown Atlanta!!!
Due to unusual circumstances, we took a taxi from the International terminal. The fare should have been about $7. When we arrived at the hotel, the driver said we owed $30. That is the flat rate to downtown, and I knew we weren't anywhere near downtown. I went inside and told the woman behind the counter, She came out and told the driver that she knew he was trying to cheat us. He quickly got in his taxi and drove away without any payment. Thank you!
The hotel was great for what we needed it, a short pass through Atlanta during a road trip. The staff were very polite and efficient. The free parking was highly appreciated. We didn't need to go into the city, so the location was great to avoid the traffic. The room was great, spacious with all the necessary amenities (coffee machine, fridge). The price was great for the comfortable and clean premises.
Upon arriving the front desk clerk told me they didn’t have any rooms left. I told him I made reservations. They gave my room to someone else.and told me that booking.com supposed to have notified me. After driving 7 hrs from Nc to Atlanta. No where to stay. Finally found a over priced hotel to stay in at the sleep in hotel.
Excellent location, smack in the middle of downtown.
The Georgia Aquarium and the Coca-Cola Experience are really next door.
The Trolley tour stops in front of the hotel (and it's an absolute MUST to do; preferably as first part of your visit, because you get a lot of valuable tips what to visit in Atlanta).
The room was comfortable, clean and amazing. The breakfast was plentiful and I was still allowed to get something even after breakfast time was up. Wifi is available throughout the property and strong. Shuttle to and from the airport. Hotel is close the downtown 15-20mins away. Staff was friendly
The flat was located in a good position close to the downtown of Atlanta, 10 minutes walk. It was easy to access from the airport and was found very clean. The flat is spacious and filled with all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend for going to Atlanta.
This hotel really exceeded my expectations - a very warm welcome - a phantastic room - fine breakfast - and you can also have a small dinner at the place, so in Atlanta ? Stay at Hyatt Place Atlanta Downtown - in the center of the town - also close to a Marta Station
I booked the hotel to go to Atlanta appeal mart. I had the wrong hotel I truly don't understand why they couldn't transfer my stay to the downtown location! This should be an option! I had to pay for another night! Made me not want to stay here again!
This Hampton is somehow further from downtown Atlanta but easy to get on main Hwy to different places we plan to go, e.g. History center, midtown, and universities. It offers free parking, nice breakfast. Room is spacious and clean.
The location is perfectly centered downtown and the SunDial, although pricey, is a worthy place for dinner. Everything in downtown Atlanta is close by to the hotel and can be in walking distance so vallet can keep the car.
The location had a perfect view of the skyline of downtown Atlanta. The hotel was conveniently located next to numerous food places. The activities that we pursued were very close to the hotel itself.
The hotel was conveniently located near lots of restaurants, and just a few minutes drive to Truist Park and downtown Atlanta. It offered a great hot breakfast and was very reasonably priced.
Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel was quiet.
The staff accommodated my need for a special room.
The location is very good, you can walk to Georgia Tech, Midtown, and Atlantic Station.
Basic hotel at Down Town Atlanta. I stayed here foe a long transfer and had some hours of perfect sleep. Staff was very lovely and welcoming! Loved the big bed and the room was clean.
The hotel was centrally located in downtown Atlanta, and a quick ride to and from the airport. Bed was super comfy, room was spacious, and the shower was nice.
