We got the feeling that they were trying to save money. We had to ask for everything.
More help was needed for the place to run efficiently and extra supplies should have been stocked. No hair blower, extra soap, etc. was needed. We stayed for two nights and were supplies for one night only.

I'mma just sum it up in a nutshell if you're black don't come to this hotel that's just point blank period cuz some employees will treat you just like that the only employee that was a sweetheart is one chicken I think her name is Alyssa she might be the only one that has respect and know how to talk to people and will help you but the other little old lady I don't even know her name she's rude she barely wants to communicate you ask her question she get real nasty they will will discriminate on you they will put things on you that you have nothing to do with just to kick you out your room if I had a new this coming here I would have never came to the horizon inn and suites I would have found someone else to go I'm spending money a lot of money on a room where I'm being discriminated against for no reason please be very careful when you come visit this hotel

There were some minor issues the first 2 days, but night desk clerk went out of his way to address the issues, both times correcting the issue in less than a minute. That young man hopefully goes up the ladder. He definitely deserves it.
the price was very affordable compared to neighboring hotels. it wasn’t too far from the airport and right off the highway. They offered early check in which was $30 which I gladly paid because I didn’t want to sit around for 5 hours until normal check in time. Room was clean bed was comfortable had 4 pillows which I found to be a huge plus. room had a mini fridge and a microwave which helped. wasn’t fancy but had everything you needed. I stayed in room 223 and I would definitely stay again when I’m in the area visiting.
Mit is an excellent manager, Mr Patel is an excellent manager. The other manager is also. This hotel is clean and affordable. I stay here over other places in the area,. They really keep the property up. I really enjoy staying here during Covid because they have hardwood resin floors which I feel is more sanitary than carpet, Towels are nice and plush. Nice rooms.
The staff was very helpful and kind. We came in last minute, because our previous hotel we had booked was out of power due to a storm so we could not checkin. This was well past midnight, and the guy on shift was very helpful and kind in getting us a room immediately. The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable.
Great room. We were super tired and just went directly sleeping, and we were able to get some good sleep.
We also enjoyed breakfast. It had been a while since we had a hot and yummy breakfast at the hotel because of covid, so it was an awesome experience. Thank you for the service.

Roaches, dirty, nasty! The worst hotel room I have ever seen! Shame on Red Roof! The police arrived as we were leaving! We will never stay in a RR facility again. We turned around and got a refund it was so horrible!
When we first walked into our room it smelt like it had freshly been cleaned. The toilet paper was folded which was a cute and caring touch and we even checked the AC/heater filters and they were brand new!
