The rooms smelled and looked amazingly clean and upkept. It was a nice quiet place and wonderful that there were triple bed rooms available which is very hard to find when you are traveling with more than 4 people.

The woman at the desk couldn't have been nicer and it was quiet. But the toilet in our room hadn't been wiped down in a while. The rim under the seat and the outside of the bowl was not clean.

The area has many beaches at your fingertips, each one giving you a unique experience. There is a strip in Ashtabula that has good restaurants and fun shops. You are close to Geneva on the Lake for a beach town experience, and the sunsets along the water are very pretty.

The location wasn't the best, and not where we usually stay.
The location wasn't the best, and not where we usually stay. The room deposit was a bit scary. And, the halls were shabby. We didn't expect much.
However, when we got to the room it was GREAT! SO clean. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were great. The A/C worked better than expected. It was big room. And there were bedbug covers on the matress and box springs. NO evidence of bedbugs AT ALL. NONE! That is a bonus.
The staff was helpful and friendly, and very funny.

This hotel was located close to the Geneva State Park North Beach about 20 minutes. Hotel has recent remodel and has a very quiet a/c system and high definition Samsung TV. Room has lot of lighting options. Exceptionally clean!!! Important for me was the excellent in room coffee.
The recommendations for meals were great. We loved the fire house winery and Eddie’s, browsing the shops and hotels. The park was great. Accommodations were perfect for the 3 of us. We loved sitting on the porch and having coffee and by the side of the house in the shade in the afternoon. The neighbors across from us were very nice. It was a quick and easy drive to Geneva on the Lake. Beautiful sunsets.
The house was very easy to find and in a quiet neighbor. The location is ideal for getting on the main roads in and around Ashtabula. You can tell that the hosts have given a lot of thought to the comfort of their quests. I particularly like the different mattress options as I use a memory foam mattress.
Bed was pretty comfortable. Room was pretty clean. Hotel is definitely showing age. But the price was okay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. In a pinch I’d stay here again. Easy off on the highway.
Pure mom and pop operations. Everything in our room worked. That's what is important. If your desire is to support small non-corporate enterprises, then this hotel will be fine for you.
