The hotel is stunning, as was our room. It's so private and wasn't too busy while we were there mid May. Staff are amazing, right from the minute we walked through the door, we were made to feel so welcome. Bathroom was lovely, fantastic facilities. The shower was great, loved the fact there was a bath and the toiletries provided were lush.
Outside of the hotel, the boardwalk is literally a two minute walk away and there are some great local restaurants. Everyone we met in Asbury Park was really friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back!

I loved the fireplace and the cozy feel to the space. Yet the space also felt spacious. Christina was very gracious and helpful in suggesting activities and places to eat.

Looks like they've just taken over this place and are making an effort to make it an upscale, lively place, They have a lot going against them (neighborhood, lack of local attractions) and I'm sure it's costing a lot to get up to speed.

Front desk was super nice - we got upgraded to king room upon check-in which was awesome! The weather was beautiful so we took advantage of the outdoor heated pool during the day and firepits at night. Theres also coffee/food in the lobby as well as great working space with plenty of plugs and nice wifi.
Would stay again for sure!

Asbury Park is one of the most friendly, comfortable, historic, beautiful, and charming towns one could ever imagine staying in. Be sure to check out Freedom Rocks, A Year and a Day Mystical Shoppe, Purple Glaze, Madame Marie's Temple of Knowledge, Porta, The Casino, Asbury Fun House, the Beach Bar, and of course, the actual beach! The new free shuttle would have been better if there was some sort of schedule to follow .We ate at several restaurants most in walking distance.it was a shame all bars and restaurants in the Berkley are closed Monday through Thursday. enjoyed the Iron Whale, Bonnie Reed, Asbury oyster House along with the Asbury Distillery and the Beach Bar

My experience was horrible this trip.
My experience was horrible this trip. My car was damaged by the third party valet who refused to take any responsibility even with proof. They are negligent with valet since it’s not owned by them and you’ll only get a “ sorry this happened to you”. Avoid staying at this hotel if you can at all costs.
The location is perfect. The hotel is very nice and our room on the top floor was beautiful. Very large, renovated, and very comfortable. Unfortunately the ice machine on our floor didn’t work and because we faced the air conditioning units it was very loud at night. You get access to the pool which is a great feature and free coffee in the morning. It’s gotten pricey over the years, but where else can you find beachfront property during the height of the summer? So for me it’s worth the price.
The hotel is in a great location, the staff were always helpful, but especially George, the ambassador bell Nan. he couldn’t do enough to help, with restaurants, directions, local area information and much more. he always had a smile on his face and friendly word, this turned a great stay into an exceptional stay.
There was also a great pianist, singer and songwriter, Arlan, on the Saturday night. We throughly enjoyed our evening listening to him.
Christina was a great host, very hospitable and helpful. she gave us great local recommendations. her apartment was a really nice place to base our weekend out of. it has everything needed, was clean and comfortable, we felt safe and the neighbourhood is very nice. we walked down to the asbury park beach which was about 20 minutes, but easy to get there by car/uber etc.
From the moment you walk in to the Ocean Club, you feel at home in your own oasis at Asbury Park. The facilities are outstanding and the space is so thoughtfully designed to maximize guest experience in every area. First time staying here and I can’t wait to return again. If you’re looking for a superior hotel experience, this is it.
Nice clean room with ocean view. We had plenty of room for our travel Baby bad too. Lots of parking on the street available and much cheaper then the hotel parking. We arrived on a Sunday around noon and got a spot within 2 min walk to the hotel. The hotel is located directly at the boardwalk and all the great restaurants.
All staff were so friendly with superior service. My room was beautiful and the hotel has beautiful ocean views. The food was excellent as well as many excellent cocktails to choose from. I liked the atmosphere and how there were many options where to eat.
Excellent hotel, the staff were always on hand to help.we were upgraded to the king size room's at now extra charge. The room's were spacious, clean and comfortable. The bar was great with live music. All in all a great place to stay.
Location, good vibe in the hotel and friendly staff. Simple decor but had everything that we needed. Nice to have the fitness centre and pool and other amenities and activities.
The location is great!!! They are making updates to the hotel and each time we come back, we can tell!
The rooms are a decent size & the beds are comfortable!
