People exaggerate Kyiv to be a war zone but it really isn’t . Life is going on just fine 😍

Kiev is a world class city. It is splendiferous and beautiful. Get there if you can. You will thank me. Be brave. Visit Kiev now..or wait until the nonsense ends and the hordes descend upon it, which will happen when commercial air service resumes.. Kiev will flower. The Ukraine is wonderful. Stand with Ukraine.

Kiev is a grandiose city you will hardly find similar scales...
Kiev is a grandiose city you will hardly find similar scales in central Europe. What makes it very special is the hills and for a viewing point you do not need to look for rooftops of restaurants or business centers - Kyiv can be viewed from a thousand angles from a height just by walking around it. It's especially interesting to know the historical context and to see a map of the city in the 11th century.

It one of the best place to visit.
It one of the best place to visit. After 4 years break,There were lots of pleasant surprises in development and improving in look of Kyiv. There is always vibrant atmosphere and something to see and Di for each visitors. The Ukrainian food is fabulous from traditional food chain like ,Puzata hata,, to a fancy restaurants,bar and clubs. Great metro system to go around. Public transport is good and cheep,easy to use. Information about stops in metro going in Ukrainian and English. Most of youngsters speak English
I adore Kyiv and highly recommended to visit ones. I am sure you will want to come back

Not safe at the moment due to the current war with Russia.
Not safe at the moment due to the current war with Russia. Constant alarms of rockets flying by. Curfews at 23:00. Police will stop you and demand to see your passport and question you about the reason to be in ukraine. Walking after sunset can be dangerous, thieves might target your belongings. Make sure you carry medical insurance with evacuation. Make sure your insurance can provide immediate payment to emergency facilities otherwise you won't get any treatment. Or pay in cash in order to be treated.
The hotel is perfectly located. "Universytet" metro station is in 5 minutes on foot, the Central railway station with connection to Kyiv-Boryspil airport is in approx. 20 minutes on foot, bus stop is nearby. Moreover, one could reach the city centre with all main sights like Sofia Cathedral or Khreshchatyk street in about 20 minutes on foot.
The room was quite comfortable, there was a bed, a table, two chairs, a refrigerator, a TV set and an air conditioner.
Breakfast was quite good.
The staff all of them friendly, professional and helpful to a new level I’ve never seen before especially Valeria and Dimitry, the cheapest price in Kyiv for a 5 star hotel never the less the same maybe the best quality you’ll find in terms of room service (cleaning or food) two resturants great breakfast, stylish entrance and lobby, wide luxurious rooms, good barber and spa available, will accomidate here next times for sure
Location is really close to exchange office, market and metro. All the things a tourist needs. Only 1-2 stations to city center with metro. Also, it costs 300 to boryspil airport, around 100 to/from city center with bolt's taxis. Staff was helpful and kind. Reception is on the 3rd floor so you can easily bring company to the hotel without someone staring at you. Rooms feels secured with 3 step security.

Loved the spacious entrance of the hotel. The quick service of employees. Elevators are super fast and wide. Room was clean and spacious with view. Bathroom was very beautiful and clean. The breakfast was served as buffet and was great.

This was my 4th hotel in Kyiv and the one I liked the most. For a very affordable price (the cheapest of the 4), I got a cozy room, clean, with a big window to a calm street, fridge and A/C, lots of natural light and always silence. It's an old fashioned hotel but in a good way: charming and comfortable. Not in the very city center but not far; also near train station.
The hotel located in city center and surrounded by city sights. It has I guess 4 floors and big amount of suits. The suite is cozy and has brand new facilities. I had an enjoyable time there, I found good spot to stay in upcoming travels to Kyiv. I really recommend this hotel!
The room was spacious and warm, and the bed was unusually comfortable (hotel beds tend to be cheap and hard in Ukraine, but not this one). Location is excellent, right in the city centre and only metres from the entrance to the Tealtral'na metro station.
We had booked the hotel 2nd time and didn't regret. The hotel is very clean. The service is very nice, polite and helpful. The locations of the hotel is very close to the city centre. A lot of nice Asian and European cafes around the hotel.
It's a vintage hotel in the city center of Kiev. What's not to love? If you're interested in Soviet era hotels then this is the place to be. It also is close to multiple subway stations so going around the city is not going to be a problem.

The best thing is the hotel staff, you get the best service you could get. The double bed room has everything you need, luxurious room. The breakfast is nice with relaxing music.

Everything was safe and secure, and the location ideal - the beautiful Shevchenko park is next to Ibys, the city center is a walking distance, and the hotel is on the main transportation arteria.
great location on the Main Street in Kyiv city center. We had a LASIK eye correction appointment at the British Ophthalmology Center, the apartment was a 150 meters from the Center, it was great.

Hotel was centrally located, however due to some road closures around the hotel it is best to take a cab or Uber to Independence Square. I did not find this as a detriment.
The hotel has a great location, probably the best in Kiev in terms of view. The metro station is also very close, which was a big bonus. The breakfast was very good.
