Marmaris is lovely, lively and always worth a visit. Lots of possibilities for entertainment, restaurants and shopping. A typical tourist city. Can be very hot and crowdy in the summertime. Wintertime is windy and rainy and most tourist facilities are closed down. The beach is with pebbles, but lots of possibilities along the beach which goes all the way from Marmaris marina to Icmeler. The Marina, the Bazaar and the city central is a must see.

Marmaris is a lovely place.
Marmaris is a lovely place. Our favourite bar/restaurant is PUKKA on the sea front just behind Blue Port. The food is exceptional in every way, from how it is served and the quality of the produce. We stayed in December and dined there everyday.
You can travel very easily on the little buses so getting around is simple and you can now pay by card which was great.

Loved the city, my favourite spot for a slow relaxed holiday. We ate fast food ( Burger King) but the breakfast was perfect. Very authentic and lovely to start with. You can get around Marmaris by foot mostly and walk through the city. Easy to commute to and from the bus station.

Location is fantastic. We have stayed before so knew to book the larger rooms as the others are very small. Very step stair access from the street and more stairs to your room and roof top restaurant. No lift option. They do carry your bags up for you which is what makes this a good choice. Many, many Restaurants down stairs to choose from and all fantastic.

We booked Marmaris knowing nothing about it and was surprised how loud and brash it was.
The locals are friendly but you get harassed to go into a restaurant or buy something.
Always ask the price first as just as we got there I got charged 500 lira for an ice cream on the seafront.
At night there is one street where the music is deafening and as an ex clubber myself I would say the decibels are way too high.
Naturally Marmaris is beautiful but what they’ve done to accommodate tourists makes parts ugly. The restaurants were more expensive that we thought and on average paid £100 for four people with a couple of drinks for two of us.
The old town was our favourite place to escape the madness. Our favourite restaurant was Fita with amazing traditional Turkish food and wonderful staff and no more expensive than the others but great food … well worth going to.
Also the boat trips to coves and a small village to escape the noise and relax.
Sad to say we wouldn’t return but that’s just us as looking for more tradition Turkish experience.
Also at the airport the security were full on and I got checked for drugs twice at the beginning and at boarding, never had this experience travelling before travelling and found off putting.
A beautifully run hotel with friendly staff who make you feel a part of the place straight away. Lots of nice seating areas and a place by the pool to unwind. Plenty of street parking if you are using a hire car and a very short walking distance to the main road for a Dolmus to get you between Marmaris and Icemeler. The wifi signal is strong around all the floors. The hotel is in a quiet location, so suitable for families and older people who do not want to be next to the disco or loud noise filtering from other venues late into the night.
Best service in Turkey so far. These guys do their best to make your vacation memorable. Friendly, sincere young people. Special thanks to Lyuda for helping Russian speakers :)

Classic family run hotel with swimming pool, bar and all facilities. It's not a new hotel but you can clearly see that the owners did a lot of recent rennovations, so from the outside and inside both it's very clean. The receptionists and staff were very friendly and helped me with any kind of questions 24/7. I felt really welcome there because it has a family vibe and also many regular guests. Location is good also, just 10 min walking from the beach and also center of Marmaris.
The hotel is one of the best in all respects. Cleanliness, service and food. The swimming pool is nice and clean and the beach is close. There are activities every night for the entertainment of the guests. There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel. We had a lovely holiday at EW Marmaris, a modern hotel with stylish furniture, a stunning view of the sea, helpful and kind staff, and delicious cuisine every day. It's an idyllic spot perfect for adults looking to unwind - soothing music, a tranquil atmosphere, and helpful staff (especially Sahan at reception and the small girl and both Ali and Ali at the restaurant). We were a group of 10 people staying in different rooms and all were clean, with air conditioning, good shower and toilet.
The staff was very friendly and the food is great.
Also the pool and pool area are great.
We stayed there for just one night before going to a sailing week and we decided to go back for dinner and breakfast when we returned from the boat.
It was one of our best stays in Marmaris. A beautiful place to recharge away from the noise and crowds. The hotel offers a unique non-traditional touristy experience with less crowds, no children and without excessive sounds and noise. Perfect for retreats. The facilities are very stylish and “instagrammable”. We had a very spacious room too.

The food options are very wide with different restaurants to explore all within the All Inclusive package (with very few exceptions). The rooms are spacious, clean and has all the basic necessities for a 5 stars hotel.
