What I liked most was going up in the hot air balloon.
What I liked most was going up in the hot air balloon.
And also sitting outside our room watching the hot air balloons the other mornings.
What wasn’t so great was the variations of the prices for the hot air balloon rides.it is too pricey, and varies too much. ☹️.

The "cave" hotels were worth booking for architecture, breakfasts served and location. I stayed at the Elysee Cave House and wish I had an extra week there. The staff was superb, the terrace on the 3rd fl. was the best place to sit back and relax as well as eat breakfast. The staff went beyond their required duties to make us feel that we had new friends in Goreme. I loved everything about this place. Even the town's dogs helped me recognize that I was getting close to my hotel each day.

Loved the scenery. The fairy houses are amazing.
Loved the scenery. The fairy houses are amazing. Too many torist #hops. Lots of restaurants. Get up at 0530 and watch around 150 ballon’s rise from the surrounding area. Or book a ballon ride yourself. The ballon’s are amazing.

The town isn't exactly close to anywhere.
The town isn't exactly close to anywhere. A flight to a nearby town or a long distance coach would be required. However, the journey is worth it since the town has unique views and activities based on the unusual geological formations in the area. Two different complementary day tours ensure you see the highlights - the Red tour close to the town and the Green tour with stops further away. A highlight is to watch the 150 or more balloons rising at sunrise - and being on board. The town has wall to wall quality restaurants for every taste and budget. Of the several coffee shops we visited Ottoman Patisserie twice to try some of their local pastries and were not disappointed. Of the restaurants Cheff Kebab was our least favoured and we would avoid it again. Extremely slow and chaotic service with several tables complaining about the accuracy of the bills.

Really magical place - so much to do but a little stressful de doing what as everything seems quite expensive. Getting up to watch the balloons is a must do regardless whether you do a flight next day. Staying somewhere with a good rooftop vista is a great bonus - we did a balloon flight - definitely cheaper when you arrive in our case the agency almost next door to our hotel was selling for €90 the night before .... don't fall for cap valley flight where no other balloons - it's a nice experience e but just not the same - shop around for other tours - we did red tour with get your guide - cost about €38 - this was excellent and showed us all the main sights, we also did horse riding and Turkish lamp workshop - easy to book locally and both great

There’s a lot of walking to do.
There’s a lot of walking to do. And it gets pretty hot so I suggest carrying water with you all the time. At first I thought I could navigate and go to all the places alone without a guide as I did in Istanbul but I’m greatful that I did book for a tour and did not go alone. It’s really hard to be navigating alone and most the tour guides are really good and try to accommodate all your needs. One really do need a tour guide to have a better understanding.
The staff at this hotel were very nice and helpful with good English and connections all around town for various services. It is hard to compare it to other hotels because we have never slept in a cave hotel! The shower pressure was excellent. The view was incredible and there was no need to take a trip to the tall vantage point in Cappadocia to see the balloons at sunrise. They came so close to the hotel that you could hear them firing up and clearly see the passengers. Any closer would have been downright dangerous.
Awesome cave hotel in Cappadocia! Surrounded by the amazing valleys, it's a jewel with beautiful, cosy and wide rooms. The bathroom too was wide and well accessorized.
It has also a terrace with a bar where you can have amazing view of the landscape from the top.
The staff has been so friendly and kind, and suggested us a lot of activies to do there to explore the zone.
Great breakfast with wide choice.
Absolutely recommended if you go to Cappadocia!
Our stay at Mosaic Cave Hotel in Cappadocia was very memorable. Mr. Mustafa and his team were incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring our comfort throughout. The hotel's location provided beautiful views from height. The delicious breakfast and the hotel's assistance in booking airport transfers, hot air balloon rides, and tours were added perks. For a memorable short stay in Cappadocia, I highly recommend Mosaic Cave Hotel.
What a beautiful hotel and situated prefectly well in Goreme main city. It was my first time in Cappadocia and Aza Cave hotel staff made it so smooth for us and took care of every little detail. Not only did we check in smoothly but they also helped us with other activity bookings.
The staff is amazing there. So warm, kind & extremely helpful. Had a wonderful experience there !!
Thank you for an amazing experience.
The cave room was awesome, so chic and comfortable. You get feeling that you are really in holidays. Best room and very good breakfast. Also, hotel situated in best location in center of goreme. No need to walk up the hill cave hotels.
