Very clean and nice design of the room makes you feel at home. The patio is perfect to spend the evening. The hosts were very nice and helpful. It is located in the center of the city with many cafes and restaurants and close to the most important sightseeings. The hotel has not its own parking but the owner sent a link to one of some tax parkings in the area. In those parkings you leave the key to the guy who guard the parking and he moves the cars. He is very skilled and funny.

We drove to the city center and took pictures of the Trogan horse used in the movie of Troy. There are restaurants and pastry shops all along the waterfront. It's a great place for dinner and an evening stroll. We only walked along water front so I'm not able to comment on the rest of the city.

Really nice city, with good restaurants, a lot of shops and good people, it was also near to two turkish islands Bozcaada and Gökçeada, we got to visit Bozcaada and it was really lovely however the only possibility to get to the port is by car or bus. We loved the Naval museum, but you need around an hour-hour and a half to really visit everything.

Seaside city with wonderful views, nearby convenient public beaches, historical sites.
Wandering around in Ancient city of Troy and watching sunset over Assos hilltop on Athena Temple with Seaside view were great and not to miss.
The dardanelles strait is beautiful on both sides and recommend to cross it with ferry boat for a soothing experience.
Do not forget to try local seafood, calamari and sweets of peynir helvasi.
Just watch out that on Monday some museums are closed.

Canakkale is MUCH cooler than what we expected. I recommend at least 3 nights there. We visited Gallipoli and Troy in one day but wished we had more time to spend just hanging out in Canakkale the town. Very young, cool population due to the university. Great places to go out at night also.
Very clean and lovely apartment style accommodation right in the heart of the city centre just 2 min walk to the ferry to Gallipoli and Troy , Mustafa the host could not have been more welcoming, he contacted me before I arrived and also took the call from the taxi driver at airport to bring me straight to the door . Outstanding and the best place I stayed on my 5 week tour of Europe and Turkey ✅
Right in the centre of Canakkale, perfect location, close to the sea, shops, restaurants, coffee places. Very pleasant hotel, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and looked after. Comfortable bed, lots of hot water in the shower, clean towels. The owners are lovely people, helped us with everything we needed, very supportive and welcoming. Definitely will visit this hotel again 💖

Overall the Hotel is OK, worth the money paid. It's good that they have a parking area.
The kids were able to have fun at the pool which is great for transit accommodation.

Extremely friendly and welcoming Manager of the hotel. Guided us perfectly about sightseeing and great suggestion to take car ferry. He also called the owner of a winery and wine museum to give us a free tour after we got off the ferry. He made us feel like family. The outdoor dining at night has an amazing view of the city.

We stayed overnight at the hotel on our way to Kosovo, we arrived late and left early in the morning so did not have many opportunities to enjoy neighbourhood. We discovered seaside walking area early in the morning. I would love to go back and enjoy the place properly.
Hotel Helen was just what we needed for our one night stay. The staff made our stay easy and flexible for the tour of Gallipoli that we were doing.

The hotel consisted of several multi-story buildings. In the middle was a garden with tables and chairs. We had breakfast there in the morning in the sun. The breakfast was good and the staff was kind.
