Good staff and professional, the location is in the city center (it might be scary when you walk outside during the night since it's empty and dark).
The hotel has 2 parking spots outside and underground so you won't find any problem to park.
It's close also the airport, so to stay for a couple of days there it's okay I guess.

Carthage the highlight.
Carthage the highlight. La Marsa and other suburbs were worth a visit. Bizerte a big disappointment.
Tunis is not a very attractive city. Apart from the main street there is dirt and squalor everywhere. The trams are often packed with no ventilation, are dirty and in many cases there are no tram stop names indicated. There is only one small park anywhere near the city centre.
The taxi from the airport is all hassle as the drivers try to rip off passengers. The light rail lines to Carthage and to La Marsa weren't operational.
There are very few decent restaurants in the city centre. Compared to other African countries I have visited (Morocco and Egypt) the locals aren't particularly friendly (with notable exceptions).
As someone who has visited more than 45 countries I wouldn't recommend Tunisia under any circumstances.

You must head to the Medina.
You must head to the Medina. It is a maze of narrow streets and packed with shoppers. The stroll in there alone is an experience.
Expect to be pestered a little but just walk on if you don't want to be invited into the little shops to buy something. It's a fun experience.
Try a Brik. It's a fried doughnut which is just delicious and cheap.
The people are generally incredibly friendly and curious but be aware of the odd gentlemen who claims to work night security at your hotel and starts to accompany you around the medina. This happened to me 3 times by 3 different men. They have the same story.

Tunis is a great place to experience Arab culture tempered by French finesse. It is easy to get around the city on foot, tram or taxi. Lots to see and do. It is also not far from other amenities and historic sites.

The medina is an interesting way of spending a couple of hours with a nice cafe above where you can look over Tunis. Taxis are the best way to travel around and there are plenty. Lots of places to eat. I think as a tourist in Tunis you just need to beware of
being ripped off by being over charged at almost every point. Other than that it’s a very interesting place to visit and actually very cheap!!
Hotel location excellent, walking distance to many sites in Tunis on everyone's bucket list, Medina, Mosques, Markets, cheap restuarants as well as more expensive ones, the Hotel Manager was great and arranged pick up from Airport and helped with any issues, always with a smile. Taxi's are reasonable, but use meter always. Area was safe to walkaround late at night. Tunisia generally felt safe everywhere...
Room was spacious and comfortable, Great hot shower with good pressure. Would stay again...
Locarno is fabulous for the Medina & exploring Tunis Our host Khalid was beyond wonderful He advised us where to visit what to see where to eat and was so helpful Youdsef the taxi driver from airport and then later further on our trip was so kind helpful & caring a total delight! They made our trip exceptional! The hotel is amazing just fabulous in style, history and comfort best sleep ever on a historic palace Breakfast is generous l, loved the eggs Everyone is do fried just enjoy And thank you
Loved staying here while in Tunisia. Hotel was so beautifully decorated, loved having the option of eating breakfast and relaxing in the courtyard and on the roof. Breakfast was delicious, staff did such a great job preparing it every morning. Even when I had an early tour, staff was more than accommodating to serve breakfast earlier. They were also so kind enough to give cold large water bottles to bring to your room, especially since it was so hot during this time of the year.
Room was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with traditional lighting and mosaiques, and there are great facilities onsite (spa and restaurant). I had a massage and a hammam - both of which were relaxing and reasonably priced. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The staff are lovely and very accomodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tunis.
The hotel is located in a great area in Tunis. Short walk from the main promenade and also close to the main souk (market). The breakfast was light and very tasty. He room was clean and refreshed daily. The staff made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. Lotfi and Emna were super friendly and made our visit enjoyable and helped us a lot. Thank you!!
Friendly helpful staff, great location and breakfast was exceptional with a wide range of choices, definitely a 5 star hotel breakfast. The balcony was a huge plus as was the central location. The security was excellent. The history of the hotel and interior art displays were very interesting. We really enjoyed our stay and would return if visiting Tunis again.
It was a very decent stay. It was clean, decorated nicely. The gentleman at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. Well-mannered and helped me with my luggage, got me situated, and attended to all my needs. The restaurant that was attached was the best! Great menu and friendly staff! This hotel gives a good reputation for tourism in Tunisia.
Very good breakfast, with good quality of food and choices. And very nice waiter/Waitress
Very friendly staff, all at your service
Good location with many restaurants around.

The infrastructure of the SPA
Quiet hotel (and I am very sensitive on this topic).
The hotel was brilliantly located right at the entrance to Tunis Medina but despite this, the room was not at all noisy. The air conditioning worked very well and the shower was good.
The best aspect of the hotel was the staff, who without fail, were exceptionally warm and helpful to us.
Me and my wife came to Tunisia for a 2 weeks honeymoon trip and we stayed in multiple hotels but the last day was in this hotel and we made a great choice as the service was exceptional and the staff members were really friendly. I really do recommend it to anyone coming to Tunis.
I was particularly impressed by how smoothly the check in was organized and the friendly demeanor of the front desk staff. Big thank you to Mr. Reda and to the Director of the hotel for providing such a delightful stay.
Hotel well located (around 10 min by car from the airport),
Budget hotel for budget traveller. OK Breakfast. Staff nice and spoke French at reception. Less than 5 minute walk to medina. Lots of nearby cafes and diners in an authentic living and breathing part of Tunis.
A good option for a backpacker traveller
I have stayed in a suite of the Majestic hotel with my family. The suite is beautiful, bright and clean with large windows and charming furniture. Very comfortable beds. Perfect location to visit Tunis and reach the airport and the train station.
The hotel is close to the city center and all places of services, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the prices are reasonable, and the staff were very friendly, it will be my favorite hotel when I will be back to Tunisia again.
I was on a two nights layover in Tunis coming from Europe. The hotel located in a very good area, near restaurants, cafes and Tunisia mall. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful especially Trariq and Kholoud.
Highly recommended
Completely renovated
Clean
Staff is really helpful
Good value for money I have vast experience with hotels in Tunis this hotel I find it way better than very expensive five stars hotels
Very special hotel with historic atmosphere right at the entrance of the medina. We stayed first night after arrival to Tunis and it was a great spot to explore the city.
One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in (experienced traveler). Perfect location, great staff, can't say enough about how enjoyable the stay was.
