I was in Tunis to visit family who were staying in Laq. Novotel was very central and in a nice and clean district. Tunis Mall was close by and it was a good base for sightseeing trips. The hotel WiFi is good. The food and restaurant are good.

Great little hotel with a prime location. Room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. Excellent bathroom with a great rain shower with good water pressure. I arrived very late at night but the team were very accommodating. This hotel is excellent value for money and my expectations were exceeded. The location is really a highlight, it is right in the middle of town just set back off Avenue Bourguiba - it’s also close to the TGM station to go to Carthage and Sidi Bou Saïd and within only 15 minutes walk you can be in the souks in the middle of the medina. It’s also only a 7 minute walk from the main train station so if you are taking a train to Sousse or anywhere else the hotel is within walking distance. The hotel is also within walking distance to Moncef Bey louage station where you can get louages to Kairouan, Sousse, Monastir etc. There are great options for food nearby too. The hotel is also easy to find, taxis can drop you off on the next street and it’s a one minute walk to the hotel on flat ground. Overall 10/10 - definitely the place to stay in Tunis
