As a solo female traveller, it wasn’t always the easiest getting around Tunisia but Hasan’s home stands out as one of the best places I stayed - his home was one where I felt the safest and most comfortable. This was sadly not the case everywhere I went. Hasan was in constant communication if I needed it and helped me get to his place late at night.

Camp Mars is a must go if you wanna experience the desert and you dont have time for a big tour. The views are stunning and it is a truly unique experience. If you ask yourself how long you should stay: 1night is enough! We also did a short camel ride there which was very nice.

SaharanSky Luxury camp is heaven on earth! A highlight to our trip to Tunisia. The staff are best in class taking the time to chat with us and make us feel at home (special shout out to Mohamed!). They host a bonfire with music and dancing topping off the whole experience. The tents are phenomenal with all the amenities you would never expect to have in the middle of the desert. The food was absolutely incredible! Make sure you stay here!
It was absolutely perfect We loved everything about the place. The location is idyllic. The rooms so quaint and so traditionally Tunisian with so much character. To wake up and see the sun rising in the desert and later in the day watch it set was just amazing The place was spotlessly clean and there was everything that we needed The breakfast was enjoyable and we definitely recommend it. The manager collected us when we arrived in Douz and was so kind and knowledgeable and friendly. Loved our stay
The owners could not of done more to make our stay absolutory great ,form meeting us in the main road of Douz at 6pm at night and showing us the way to the property to suppling every thing we needed for a great stay... It was a very last minute dissension to go to the international festival of the Sahara and finding this incredibly CLEAN ,WELCOMING great place was a real bonus and made our time in Douz a time to remember....All thanks to Akram and is wonderful partner.
The hotel is perfect in case you are going to visit in Sahara. We arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning. Got a good dinner served and nice breakfast.Really beautiful area with a lot of palm trees. Hotel itself was better than in pictures.
A remote camp, two hours in a 4x4 from Douz. The tent was really comfortable and the evening meal delicious, and there was alcohol. wish we would have stayed extra nights
