This is a top notch hotel! Employees were incredibly attentive to our needs. Everyone went above and beyond to help. Not to mention the great location and wonderful breakfast. Lastly, the bed linens were crisp and prestine. Room was impeccably clean and fresh. Loved the roof top terrace.

Host Feriel and Co. Provided a hostel like intimacy in a hotel setting, extremely personable without being intrusive. The location was fantastic nestled away in back streets or La Marsa, providing easy access to local amenities.
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day.
I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou). There was a supermarket which catered for our needs.
We also visited the capital Tunis and Sidi Bou Said which had lovely shops and stunning views.

Very clean and beautiful house.
Very clean and beautiful house. Esma and son were accommodating hosts. We were expecting a hotel rather than a B&B. Bed had partial walls on both sides with shelves so easy to bump head or body. Breakfast was the same both days—Tasty and fresh but nothing memorable. Several restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Bakery as well. Value for money seems a little expensive.

We had stayed at The 18 La Marsa Guest House a few days prior. Our experience was so positive that we decided to cancel our reservation at Sousse and rebook our last night in Tunisia with The 18. Our hosts were extremely helpful and on both stays we had great conversations with them. The accommodations are cozy and comfortable but more importantly ever so convenient to the airport. This is the perfect location for anyone who is departing from Tunis airport in the morning, whether you have a rental car (as we did) or not.
outstanding breakfast, free coffee and shakshuka or omelette served on demand, strawberry smoothie was delish. Garden pool - perfect for a swim in 40 degrees heat. Our bed on top 3rd floor was comfy and we had great views. Reception staff speaks excellent english (Farah was lovely) and you can pay by card in eur/gbp/usd (rare in Tunis). Hotel is a home to a doggy and 2 kittens, it felt very safe. I would recommend it to solo female travellers.
This place is a piece of heaven in the middle of La Marsa, beautiful, comfortable and tranquil. The patio is an amazing place to spend some time and rest, and the rooms are very nice with private bathrooms. The best part of Dar Souad is the staff, the two sisters in charge of it are very helpful and have good advises to move around the area. The rest of the staff is also fantastic, very good cookers also! I would come back for sure!
Traditional decoration of the room made all the money ! We had a deluxe room with a balcony , very clean, spacious, and with everything we needed inside. Staff was very attentive ,careful, and ready to help. Very good breakfast with a lot of traditional dishes including omlet as hot dish. Also they have a roof terrace where you can relax in the afternoon having a nice panorama on La Marsa.

Pure goosebumps! Plus the hotel is spotlessly clean and the owner and his son and the staff are on site and so nice. They have the best breakfast I have ever had overlooking the sea. Thanks again to the whole team. We will definitely be back next time we are in Tunisia.
15 min walk to the la marsa beach, bars and restaurants, the local area is safe and plenty of cheap restaurants and groceries close by And the house not on the main street so its quiet, 10 min by taxi to sidi bosaid& carthage and 20 min to the airport & medina

Beautiful clean and modern detached villa with a super cozy backyard terrace fitted with a barbecue and a swimming pool.
The location is calm, it’s a private residence within a hotel compound. The hotel close by offers two restaurants, a Moorish café and a Bar.
The owner was super nice and helpful, and even gave me recommendations for nightlife in the area.

The Dar el Marsa is a three-story hotel in a great location on the very beach front of La Marsa. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel, a modern look in the comfortable rooms and great beds. The spa services were excellent as well as the large 'relaxation space' open to guests. Rooftop restaurant / bar comes highly recommended and has one of the best views in the area.
Beautiful house. 6 Rooms. One room to the exterior, 2 rooms to the interior. Room to the exterior are smaller but have a small balcony with sunshine in the morning. Ground level: large room where breakfast is organized and with sofa's. Room could be furnitured more tastfully. Breakfast good. Staff polite & helpful. One K to the beach. Lots of restaurants around the hotel.
My wife and I enjoyed the stay, it felt like we stayed in a world class museum with exceptional service. The staff always had a perfect smile on their face.
The breakfast was always perfect and romantic, we get to choose what we want to eat every morning and it was prepared with love, the breakfast is always on the rooftop with beautiful view of La Marsa.
The place is calm and properly equipped. For people who like walking they can have twenty to thirty minutes walk to reach La Marsa shore, which is one of the best places to enjoy in Tunis.
The closest quality restaurant is the kitchen. Just 15 minutes walk. For two to three people I would highly recommend it as they will share the cost.
The location is magic with an amazing view on the Mediterranean and direct access to the sea. Service is impeccable, very attentive to details and to satisfy any requests of the clients. The view combined with the service and comforts make it the perfect place to be in La Marsa. We will for sure come back again.

The host Taieb was very welcoming and helpful in every request we had. His dad gave us great advice for what to visit etc. Also a thank you for the rest of the staff ( cleaning, breakfast).

The house is amazing, the rooms are really clean and the staff are very friendly. The location is amazing close to La marsa and Sidi Bousaid. We enjoyed the sea and the pool. I highly recommend Dar Marsa cubes. I will definitely come back here!
The hosts are amazing. They were very welcoming and fun to speak with and give advice. They even drive us to the famous area. Wish I stayed in Tunis longer so I can spend more time there. Also, the price is unbeatable.
