This is a top notch hotel! Employees were incredibly attentive to our needs. Everyone went above and beyond to help. Not to mention the great location and wonderful breakfast. Lastly, the bed linens were crisp and prestine. Room was impeccably clean and fresh. Loved the roof top terrace.

Host Feriel and Co. Provided a hostel like intimacy in a hotel setting, extremely personable without being intrusive. The location was fantastic nestled away in back streets or La Marsa, providing easy access to local amenities.
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day.
I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou). There was a supermarket which catered for our needs.
We also visited the capital Tunis and Sidi Bou Said which had lovely shops and stunning views.

Very clean and beautiful house.
Very clean and beautiful house. Esma and son were accommodating hosts. We were expecting a hotel rather than a B&B. Bed had partial walls on both sides with shelves so easy to bump head or body. Breakfast was the same both days—Tasty and fresh but nothing memorable. Several restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Bakery as well. Value for money seems a little expensive.

Mr. Adnan was extremely accommodating and informative. It was a bit difficult for the taxi driver to get to the house, so make sure you contact Mr. Adnan via Whatsapp and he'll explain it to the taxi. Breakfast was so delicious: fresh pastries, fresh fruits, homemade marmalade, local cheeses and eggs made to your liking. The rooms are so close to the beach you can fall asleep to the sounds of the waves. So peaceful, so clean, so pretty. The staff was exceptional and friendly. Will definitely book again on any future trips to Tunis.
We had stayed at The 18 La Marsa Guest House a few days prior. Our experience was so positive that we decided to cancel our reservation at Sousse and rebook our last night in Tunisia with The 18. Our hosts were extremely helpful and on both stays we had great conversations with them. The accommodations are cozy and comfortable but more importantly ever so convenient to the airport. This is the perfect location for anyone who is departing from Tunis airport in the morning, whether you have a rental car (as we did) or not.
outstanding breakfast, free coffee and shakshuka or omelette served on demand, strawberry smoothie was delish. Garden pool - perfect for a swim in 40 degrees heat. Our bed on top 3rd floor was comfy and we had great views. Reception staff speaks excellent english (Farah was lovely) and you can pay by card in eur/gbp/usd (rare in Tunis). Hotel is a home to a doggy and 2 kittens, it felt very safe. I would recommend it to solo female travellers.
Traditional decoration of the room made all the money ! We had a deluxe room with a balcony , very clean, spacious, and with everything we needed inside. Staff was very attentive ,careful, and ready to help. Very good breakfast with a lot of traditional dishes including omlet as hot dish. Also they have a roof terrace where you can relax in the afternoon having a nice panorama on La Marsa.
Everything was perfect, the whole villa and room is absolutely amazing and the sea view is not of this WORLD!!!!
Pure goosebumps! Plus the hotel is spotlessly clean and the owner and his son and the staff are on site and so nice. They have the best breakfast I have ever had overlooking the sea. Thanks again to the whole team. We will definitely be back next time we are in Tunisia.
15 min walk to the la marsa beach, bars and restaurants, the local area is safe and plenty of cheap restaurants and groceries close by And the house not on the main street so its quiet, 10 min by taxi to sidi bosaid& carthage and 20 min to the airport & medina

Beautiful clean and modern detached villa with a super cozy backyard terrace fitted with a barbecue and a swimming pool.
The location is calm, it’s a private residence within a hotel compound. The hotel close by offers two restaurants, a Moorish café and a Bar.
The owner was super nice and helpful, and even gave me recommendations for nightlife in the area.

The 18 La Marsa was so wonderful! I was traveling by myself, and I was welcomed so warmly by the hosts/owners. They took me in for dinner. We swapped travel stories. I was meant to feel like “family” while I was there. This place is a true gem and I highly recommend it. Comfortable. Warm and friendly hosts. Great location walking distance to town, beach and train to Tunis.
The Dar el Marsa is a three-story hotel in a great location on the very beach front of La Marsa. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel, a modern look in the comfortable rooms and great beds. The spa services were excellent as well as the large 'relaxation space' open to guests. Rooftop restaurant / bar comes highly recommended and has one of the best views in the area.
Beautiful house. 6 Rooms. One room to the exterior, 2 rooms to the interior. Room to the exterior are smaller but have a small balcony with sunshine in the morning. Ground level: large room where breakfast is organized and with sofa's. Room could be furnitured more tastfully. Breakfast good. Staff polite & helpful. One K to the beach. Lots of restaurants around the hotel.
The location is fantastic, in La Marsa, next to the train stop, at a walking distance from the sea and Sidi Bou Saïd; very easy also to get to Carthage on the train.
The staff was very friendly; I enjoyed chatting with them. The room is good size and pretty clean. The A/C & heat works. Breakfast is good. The view is nice. Nice outdoors spaces if you go in warm months.
The place is calm and properly equipped. For people who like walking they can have twenty to thirty minutes walk to reach La Marsa shore, which is one of the best places to enjoy in Tunis.
The closest quality restaurant is the kitchen. Just 15 minutes walk. For two to three people I would highly recommend it as they will share the cost.

The host Taieb was very welcoming and helpful in every request we had. His dad gave us great advice for what to visit etc. Also a thank you for the rest of the staff ( cleaning, breakfast).
