This was one of the nicest hotels I have ever been to! Everything is clean and well-maintained. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is unbelievably delicious and huge. If you're in Dushanbe - I highly highly recommend staying here! Additionally, the wifi is super fast.

It was my first time visiting Tajikistan, and this hotel was just amazing. The service I received from this hotel. The staff is super nice and polite. Feroz from reception was a wonderful, very helpful person I ever met in Tajikistan he was really nice and made my stay very comfortable. I felt like I was home, not a hotel. I’m visiting Tajikistan again in a couple of months and the staffs politeness and kindness will bring me back to Safir Hotel again. I did not expect it to be a beautiful, clean, safe place to walk around even at night. Despite the language barrier, people are nice and accommodating trying to help you with direction. I noticed that the drivers are very patient and seldom use their horn and gives priority to pedestrian. Parks and trees are everywhere. Food and stay is affordable.

We had wonderful time in Tajikistan. I would highly recommend Dushanbe as a cultural experience. Tajikistan is over 90% mountains and the views are wonderful. The general populace is extremely hospitable and kind. Go informed, however. This country is small, poor, and has a corruption problem. The border guards are known to let you in without filling out an immigration card and giving you grief for it when you leave, hoping for bribes. The water is not safe to drink, and I would not recommend buying food from street vendors. If you are traveling from America, do not be surprised at small inconveniences like showers being broken, food items not on the menu, or airplanes running a couple of hours late. But these are small inconveniences. Buy your water, do your homework ahead of time on immigrations, and allow extra hours in your travel times. Relax and enjoy the scenery! You won't be sorry!

It's a beautiful city surrounded by mountains, it should be called city of gardens and flowers, the city has so many beautiful gardens I have not seen in any other city. Very neat and clean streets and roads, spacious walkways along roads, beautiful buildings, looks more beautiful in the night
This was my first time to Dushanbe. I looked at differnt options and Shumon seemed a good bet, centrally located, not too big but large enough to accommodate a number of our colleagues. Everything was great about the hotel, and particularly the friendly staff. Rooms were big and comfortable, we had complimentary fruit and nuts, plus bottled water. Staff were available 24/7 and were helpful, friendly and spoke good English. It was an added benefit that there is a really good Georgian restaurant on the premises.
The room is huge and clean, toiletries were awesome! The location is so perfect and just approx 2 mins walk to bus station, which we enjoyed so much. The hotel is just 3 mins away to the town centre! The staff were so kind and approachable, Thanks to Mr. Fazliddin , Ms. Aziza and the rest who made our stay a comfortable and memorable one. The breakfast is just fine, kitchen staff were so accommodating! Safir hotel is so commendable! ❤️ The hotel price is reasonable and worth it. 🤗

It's a really lovely space as I met a few lovely dedicated travelers there who have been traveling long term.
I enjoyed being able to meet people there, so I actually cancelled my hotel booking for my final night and decided to stay at the hostel for a third night instead.
Sunrise is lovely from the rooftop - which comes with the hostel, as it is on the top floor - the 17th floor of the apartment building.

I booked the room late at night and it was very affordable, when I arrived to the front desk, I was welcomed by a very friendly staff member, his name is Salmon, he speaks multiple languages (Arabic, English, Russian and Tajik) and maybe more.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and peaceful.

All the Hotel Staff are very helpful. I like the location. There are restaurants, cafe and fast food outlets. There are many small supermarkets around the Hotels. Easy to travel around as
there are plenty of Bus Services and taxis. From my Room I could see the mountain when the weather is clear.
The front desk people were very helpful and welcoming. I booked the hotel because of the location and the view. The location was great of course, but it rained or snowed the whole time we were there so I can't comment on the view!
the owner is a font of knowledge and it feels like every backpacker/bikepacker in Tajikistan filters through here so a great place to find travel buddies/plot your next love
