We found this place by chance, we needed a nights stop over in Koh Samui. And what a fantastic find it was, everything about this place is brilliant, from the staff to the views from the room. The property is amazing, fantastically designed. Unfortunately we only had one night here, we will definitely be back but next time for longer.

Pierre is a lovely Belgian gentleman who runs the place with his wife focused on customer service than profit. They have opened this beautiful resort recently and hence the fewer reviews on the website.
He is very approachable and available. He communicates well in English so well suited for Non local travellers. His staff were also very friendly. I would rate the service 100/10 if I could, as it really makes the experience.
Regarding rooms and facilities. They were exceptional. Everything was new including the motorbikes to rent. Aesthetics of the place is also timeliness and they spared no costs in starting this place up. Rooms are spacious, clean , comfy beds, lockers , refrigerator, TV and air conditioned. They have a gym , pool , GREAT WIFI , laundry service outside chilling spots that are also cosy.
Only minor downfall of the place is the location. It is 50mins away from airport and about 30mins away from most things to do/eat. But do not be discouraged, as you can easily locate good restaurants/massage parlors 10mins away. They are close to lipa noi beach that we couldn't check out. Nathon pier is 10mins away that has a great market for cheap and tasty food.
Recommendations to other travellers- definitely seek out this place if you're a digital nomad and want to stay away from crowds or travellers looking for luxurious stay for fraction of a cost.
Recommendations to the owner - gym to have weights to encourage long term people. Restaurant or food available during lunch hour , more advertisment to attract customers as this is so worth coming to!

The view from our bungalow was million dollar, and the restaurant's food was also great. Staff friendly . Only downside is this end of Lamai Beach wasn't so great for swimming (water very shallow). Great budget friendly option though.

This is a really nice hostel. I stayed in a dorm room and it was comfy, clean and we'll laid out. Bathrooms and shower were separate and in the room. Beds were comfy. Lots of nice amenities on site (pool, pool table, restaurant)

I was there for 5 days mainly at a yoga retreat where I ate, swam, read and relaxed. I spent one of the days on a tour of the island to see the main sights - beautiful temples and shrines, which was well worth it.
The yoga resort was a little remote - so needed taxi to get around the island. I'd look for somewhere a little more central for a future trip.

There is a high pollution on this Island.
There is a high pollution on this Island. Garbage everywhere and most tourists don’t care about and even let their own garbage at the beach.
Big amount of traffic all day long. Backpacker riding scooter also when drunk or smoked weed. Many accidents can be seen.

The streets in Samui are dirty, not taken care of.
The streets in Samui are dirty, not taken care of. There are no rubbish bins on common areas; I was always carrying my trash until I find a 7/11 shop- they have bins in front.
Many buildings are abandoned and left to deteriorate to rubbles. Those are places that many people and I guess locals throw their rubbish, so the view is not nice.
There aren't many things you can do in Samui - of course parties and cannabis are available. And there are beautiful beaches too.
Krabi and Phuket are way more diverse regarding activities for any kind of interest.

We took the car over from the mainland to Koh Samui which was a mission in itself. When we got to Koh Samui it was ok very much like the rest of Thailand. We come from NZ so are spoilt with beautiful beaches where we live so don't really see Beach's as a day out. The town is just like any other Town on the mainland. Was not really worth the trip over wished I had just stayed on the mainland. The weather whilst we were there was always overcast but always hot .we are not into the booze scene so cannot comment about clubs and drinking joints etc. cannabis is legal in Thailand now so plenty of variety of that's what your looking for. Lots of markets going on if you like cheap that. All in all average I probably will never go back.

Koh Samui airport is very comfortable to arrive at.
Koh Samui airport is very comfortable to arrive at. The residents are warm, friendly and I felt safe travelling there.
I found the use on concrete very disappointing around the island, more can be done to make this island more beautiful with the use of durable aesthetically pleasing materials as the top hotels have been made in exquisite style.
The beaches are breathtakingly beautiful.

I really don't understand why Koh Samui is so popular.
I really don't understand why Koh Samui is so popular. It's busy, it's expensive, kind of trashy in places. It's definitely not a tropical paradise. I went once and I'll definitely never go back.
