Staff! They all were incredibly helpful, responsive, friendly and very hard working. Everything was perfectly clean and well kept. My son is a picky eater and I was a bit worried about it, but breakfast was outstanding. The location is hard to beat too. Definitely coming back.

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and honestly our stay was absolutely amazing. Seree and her parter made us feel right at home, so welcoming and warm. Ko Chang is a wonderful island due to the island being largely national park with mountains and tropical forest. It’s surrounded by other islands, some of which (eg Ko Laoya) deserve the label ‘tropical paradise’. The west coast has some nice beaches, but the east end of the island which has far fewer people and fewer resorts is in many ways even more beautiful, where you are surrounded by mountains and verdant forest.
Ko Chang is easy to get to with many ferries across every day and has excellent resorts and tourist facilities. As it is a large island, a car or a motorbike is useful. As the east end of the island has far fewer cars it is suitable for exploring by pushbike.

It’s a beautiful island split between left and right. Turn right off the ferry and you enter the tourists haven with restaurants , bars, shops, scooter hire, and all the hotels and guest houses you can find. Turn left and its rocky beaches, jungle and local villages.

Well where do I start?
Well where do I start? Ko Chang has been the most amazing island we visited so far. People were so friendly, the beach were not crowder — so many food options to choose from. Honestly, 3 weeks stay was too short in our opinion. Will definitely come back for more 😊

5 h away from Bangkok ( and that includes the ferry as well), lots to do on the island , lovely beaches , people are just lovely, prices are very good , big enough so you can find a Tesco , a Metro in here if you want to buy stuff, lots of snorkelling places , it’s a must , you will

From people we know and random searches on the internet, we gathered that Koh Chang would be way less touristy than places like, say Koh Panghan and Koh Samui. That's why we were a little bit disappointed the first few days of our stay on the West side of the island. Yes, it's a bit less crowdy than Samui or Panghan, but it's still QUITE touristy. It's only seems to be more catered to an older (like 65+) crowd - especially around the most famous White Sand Beach - and couples. BUT luckily we found what we were looking for at the much quieter east side of the island. There are less restaurants and (seedy) bars over there, but you can enjoy the beauty of the island and see some of the 'genuine' Thailand in relative calm and ease. The east side I would definitely recommend to friends, the west side not so much. It helped that we stayed in the wonderful Privacy Resort, which made our stay at the east side even more enjoyable.

The sea and sandy beaches are beautiful, there are many wild monkeys, there is a lot of nature, and it is quiet and relaxing.
My favorite part is the close proximity to the ocean and mountains, and the great scenery.
We had a standard room that overlooked the car park which was good as we could keep an eye on our car. The room had all the standard facilities that you would expect for a hotel of this stature. Very clean and everything worked. the bed was very comfortable. The staff especially the security on the gate were very helpful and courteous. There is a 7 11 right next door to the hotel. There is a bit of construction going on in the hotel grounds with upgrading restaurants and facilities but the noise was minimal and not intrusive.
Yak was the coolest and his bungalows were awesome. My partner and I loved our week at Yak Bungalows—the beach nearby was our favorite on the island (quieter, chiller), the bungalow itself was cozy and clean, and Yak was always available when we needed him. There’s a shared kitchen you can use as well. no wifi at the bungalows which was AmAzInG. We highly recommend and will be returning whenever we’re on Koh Chang!! Thanks Yak <3 :-)
The bungalows are spacious and have their own bathroom attached to them. Our room was equipped with an AC, which made the stay even more enjoyable! The bungalows don't get very hot without the AC on either though, so just a fan is more than enough.
The hostess was especially welcoming. We messed up our booking and showed up a day later than she expected us, but she allowed us to stay all four nights without having to pay extra.
The room is really big. love it. It's clean. It has everything I need including drying racks for clothes and swimsuits. It's in a quiet section of the island but still have some shops right outside the hotel for food and stores to buy stuff. It's not beach front but the hotel has a short 5min walk to the beach. The beach really nice and clean. Not a lot of people. It has shallow water you can walk out to the beach and relax.
Location couldn't be better for White Sand Beach area, make sure to try Ta and Yay across the road for dinner. Very centre of the village and right on the beach. Aircon in the room is great, quiet setting worked better here than most places which is important for sleep! Beds comfy, friendly staff, shower was lovely and strong, good hairdryer provided. Beautiful view on beach for sunset (in picture). Overall highly recommend
Amazing beautiful hotel!! We loved everything specially the costumer service was great. They make feel so comfortable, We enjoy the breakfast everyday with the beautiful view plenty of choices.. They took the time to decorate the room for our anniversary and It was so beautiful! We really appreciate the hard work put in this place. Every attention to detail make this place so special. When you come to Ko Chang, you may prefer to stay near seaside - yes it’s good choice, but also to stay in woods makes you feel very tranquirity.
We really loved this place. In the morning, you can walk to the mountain side - very nice atmosphere!!
And somehow it’s much cooler here than seaside. Highly Reccomended!

Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was very comfortable with a spectacular view of the pool, beach and sunset (3rd floor, pool view). Choice of stairs or lift to the 3rd floor. BF was ok. Not 5 star but very acceptable. The coffee at breakfast was delicious with choices of espresso, cappuccino etc.
Smaller hotel so quiet and could always get a beach or pool lounger. Staff and other guests friendly. Enjoyed having our own bungalow. Nice beach and able to walk to stores and restaurants. Breakfast good. Lunch and dinner very good with reasonable price for resort meals.
The breakfast was modest, but enough for this price. The location was 10 minutes from the white sand beach, but hotel had free of charge transportation to beach. Close by was very nice restaurant (Blues blues) where I visited several time.
