Nice private bungalow which was comfortable and clean. Klaus (the owner) was really welcoming and helped us get the most out of our very short stay. Good distance from the rest of the village, a short walk but far enough to be quiet. Very glad to have air con.

Great location right next to the entrance of the Koh Sok National Park and the main strip for restaurants and shops. The owners were so kind and friendly and were really the highlight of the stay. They helped us book a day tour to the Lake which is an hour drive away and would 100% recommend- a real highlight of our overall Thailand trip!

This place seems to have become quite touristic.
This place seems to have become quite touristic. The one day tour is a sham. Long time traveling with some quick stops to take a quick picture. The cave is just walking in line to see a few bats. The jungle tour is just a hike though the jungle up a creek. All the animals have left here as probably 1000 people crush this path every day. I guess if you want to see some raw nature you have to hire a private guide for more days and go deeper and wait until all the day trippers have left.

A lovely spot, staff was excellent. Meals were very reasonable and VERY fresh ingredients, lots of options. Lots of sitting areas, a pool and a “sky walk” constructed outside the main entrance for guests.

The one day lake tour at the national park was amazing. Going with a boat to go lunch, swim and walk. The walk was great. You have to wear closed shoes because you are going to get really wet until your belly button. The town khao sok was not much. It was 1 street. But it was cozy. The khao sok homestay resort is a place I would not recommend. It was also very far from the town

Khao Sok is a beautiful national park with lush rainforest, towering limestone formations seen nearby rivers and at Cheow Lan lake and a variety of wildlife. It is a stunning place to visit with lots of nature and activities to do - we went canoeing along a river for a couple of hours and spotted birds, tree frogs, giant lizards and bee hives up on the limestone mountains. Cheow Lan lake is a must - we planned a day trip with Khao Sok private tours, and really enjoyed the longboat ride exploring the lake spotting monkeys and elephants on the shore. We hiked in the jungle and saw many birds and lizards and heard gibbons up in the trees. Swimming in the lake was such a memorable experience in this beautiful and peaceful setting - like soaking in a warm bath! The mekong catfish in the lake (and there are many!) don't come near you when you swim. We stopped off at Panvaree and got to kayak too, which was great fun. The lunch there was outstanding and you can enjoy a quiet meal with beautiful views from the balcony.
We absolutely loved our stay at Silver Cliff Resort. The owners Calvin and Jonathan were so amazing and helped us with everything that we needed. They even invited us to join their barbecue, which was so much fun! Although the location is a little bit more remote,
we didn’t mind at all, since the surrounding nature is so beautiful and they have a restaurant on site. We also booked a two day, one night lake tour through the Resort, which we really enjoyed. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we definitely hope to come back some day!
The staff was amazing! The food was amazing! The excursions were amazing and affordable! As other hotels nearby charge much higher prices for private tours. We did a private tour on the lake as we were with two kids (4 and 1 year old), everything was nicely organized! If you are in Khao sok I highly recommend the lake view; beyond amazing!
The staff arranged a taxi back to patong beach. We would like to thank the staff! And if we come back to Khao sok, we will for sure book at your hotel!
The place is located into the jungle and a part of it is part of the Khao Sok National Park, The guys who run it are very cool and helpful with everything we needed. They even arranged an amazing full day trip to khao sok national park’s lake which is a must and requires by law to have a guide with you and also our transportation from there to Phuket in very good prices. We’d recommend this to anyone wants to experience Thailand’s wild nature at a magical place. Thank you guys!!
They deserve all the good reviews and credit! We just stayed one night at the resort and then, thanks to the incredible staff, we did an amazing overnight tour at the national park. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming and funny. They organised our overnight tour and the transport to Krabi airport. The room at the resort and the bungalow in the national park were very comfortable and clean. We can highly recommend the Khao Sok Morning Mist Resort! Definitely coming back.
This is a unique place to stay in Khao Sok! Thanks to the landlady. May treats her guests like friends! She is very helpful finding trips and guides of high quality! Breakfast eas unforgettable! We went four minutes to the charming old Hotel by the lake for dinner! For us that was a perfect end of a day. Anyone going to Khao Sok should get the chance to have a trip on the lake it is so beautiful!! PS! Sorry about some Bangkok photos!!
The staff at the hostel were some of the most hospitable people I've encountered on my travels. The team was so helpful and ready to help me with any questions or problems. The location as well was close to the national park and the surrounding restaurants. Alongside this the provided beds were comfortable and the dorm was spacious. I would highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Khao Sok.
Excellent location near gates to the National Khao Sok Park. Very helpful and kind owner ( hotel is family owned ). Mr. Ea arranged for us a guided hike to see rafflesia flowers and a day long trip on the lake. Both awesome! Tranquility of the place - you can hear the nature around you : sounds of the river, birds, monkeys, frogs, etc. Food served at hotel's restaurant is very tasty and very affordable
Almost everything was perfect. The view is breathtaking, the staff is amiable, and the food is good. The rooms were small, but I was ready for it. We ordered a rafflesia tour in the hotel, which was a fantastic experience. One of the entrances to Khao Sok National Park is situated very close to the hotel, so you don't need to drive there - it takes 1 minute to reach it.
lovely place to stay, literally at the doorstep of the entrance to the Khao Sok national park, the beds are comfy and rooms are clean. the staff are very friendly and helpful, our favourite was Snook who checked us in, was very helpful friendly and funny, she helped us book the tours we wanted to do and the restaurant does amazing food.
Great location close to many restaurants and bus stop. It’s not deep into the park like some stays are. I booked a tour with the hotel and it was amazing. The rooms for the price is also perfect.
Keep in mind you’re in the wilderness so you will be hearing all sorts of creatures.
I’d come back here if I ever come back to Khao Sok.

Great value for money, located not far from the bus station in Khao Sok. The staff was incredibly friendly and helped me book tours to the Elephant Sanctuary and the National Park, as well as transportation to the next destination. The rooms and facilities were very clean and you could even order breakfast there.

We had a perfect one night stay on our way to Khao Sok National Park. The grounds are beautiful, and it was so lovely to wake up in the morning with our view overlooking the river and jungle sounds. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Glad we stayed here instead of Surat Thani.

It was the cleanest hotel we had in all thailand. You are in the jungle but its our first room without any bugs. No ants. No bathroom smell. Impeccable place. Its right at the park entrance, close to many good restaurants, good breakfast. Staff are really nice.
