We shifted from regular room to deluxe which were a much better size than the regular beachfront rooms. The deluxe room was on second floor and much more private.
The beach was really nice and clean. It had soft sand and good for beginner swimmers like me.
Standing on the green hills of Chaweng Noi, Samui Bayview Resort & Spa - SHA Plus offers guests breathtaking views of the sea and a peaceful location close to the busy city centre of Chaweng.

I wouldn't go back.
I was so disappointed by Koh Samui, I thought it was a nice place to go but aside from beautiful beaches and the views from the mountains, its really rough and run down.
Chaweng itself is like Magaluf. The strip is awful. But if you like that then you'd probably like it but not being a drinker or a partier I really hated it.
We did however eat at some really great restaurants all over Koh Samui

It is beautiful, wonderful, crystal clear, turquoise water. Do NOT let the reviews that say that this beach is "busy, loud, too crowded" deter you from coming. We were here in January-February during peak season and it was perfect! Never too crowded and never too empty. Perfect in my experience, I would come back. I did not prefer nor enjoy Lamai beach (supposed to be better, but I disagree).

Pretty big town for Samui.
Pretty big town for Samui. Lots to see, especially inland a bit where the market is, and the grittier streets. The area by the beach is all gated resorts and a bit bland/international. However, there's a real Thai town in Chaweng if you look beyond the resorts, and it's far more interesting.

Excellent location for the price, easy access to town and several attractions. We took a Song Taew to Wat Plailam for 150 Baht and walked to Big Bhuda Temple. Then took a taxi 200 baht to Fisherman Village. We had dinner at the Coco Tams Restaurant, it is little pricy but the atmosphere was fabulous, watched the Fire Show on the beach beside the restaurant.
Staffs at the Chaweng Noi Pool and Villa were very helpful and courteous.

Beautiful beach which is quieter and more relaxing than the main Chaweng beach. For relaxation and enjoying a leisurely dip in the sea and a snorkel, Chaweng Noi hits the spot, with crystal clear water and spotting an array of tropical marine fish and crabs.
There is not much in terms of choices of restaurants or bars therefore it is better to go into Chaweng or Lamai for more choice for food and drink - this is easily done by using NaviGo or hailing a taxi/hop on hop off red truck from the main road. There is a nice bistro bar which does good happy hour drinks but the mains were pretty mediocre, though the prices were pretty good - the chicken satay there is delicious!

Our stay was perfect, the hotel is clean, the room is cleaned every day and the staff was so nice !
The beach is about 3 min walk 😍
A cute coffee is just next to the hotel, so easy for the breakfast !
We loved staying in Tara Hotel, we 100% recommend this place for the value it was really good !!
Very nice view of the sea but no beach. Facilities are okay but you can tell it's been a while since renovation has happened. The staff is lovely but the facilities are a bit downgraded. It's an isolated place and you need to use a motorbike or taxi to get to the more busy streets.
Coral Cliff Beach Resort was the best place we stayed in Thailand. It is even better than photos. Te beachs was very photogenic, the endless pool was amazing and the breakfast was very nice. The staff is so polite and nice, they tried to do everything they could for you.
excellent staff they put great effort to please their guests, amazing beach, breakfast and dinner was great, the room was superb and much better than we imagined. the hotel is strategically located in the middle of the beach with amazing views of the mountain and rocks.
Comfortable hotel, excellent spacious rooms with jacuzzi, nice swimming pool and easy access to the beach. Special thanks from our baby N'Mark to the staff in the restaurant, Pekky (Phet) & Mew - they were very helpful and warm welcoming with our child and us.
Friendly people, good restaurant, great jungle vibe and very private. We stayed in the deluxe bungalow 103 and it was our cheapest place by far and way better than anywhere else. Nice ocean views at pool. 10 mins to lamai 10 mins to chaweng beach.. awesome.
Staff were very helpful. There was no internet as a storm damaged the cabling so Fon on reception organised a modem. It was so powerful I could get coverage anyway on the resort.
It was on the beach. Great massage on the beach.
The staff were lovely, friendly, and keen to help, especially Gary. The views were exceptional and the rooms surrounded by natural bush, lots of birds and squirrels. Good free shuttle bus to sister resort by the beach
a very enjoyable stay, extremely nice staff, manager, kitchen stuff and owner who made us a little trip around the area and drove us to the beach. hotel itself very clean, large apartment with good view, great pool.
Friendly and helpful hosts, they go out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Room is cleaned daily. We got the room not facing the street so it is quiet. The hotel is old but well maintained
The villa is very spacious with really great views.
Alex will make your stay worthwhile, always available and with great recommendations.
Would definitely recommend this place to visit Koh Samui!
beautiful location, tucked away in a little tropic paradise. you are surrounded by nature! you walk over the road and you are then practically on the sand of chaweng noi beach!
The host and owner, Philippe, take the concept of the customer is always right to there next level. Great value for money and short walk to a great beach.
