Hotel Ibis Bophut Samui is favourably situated directly beside the beach in a quiet location. It is 15 minutes from the airport. The modern rooms are furnished and decorated in warm tones.

This must be the best value in Bophut. This hotel offers it own beach, three sparkling pools to choose from, and affordable bar and restaurant. The rooms are not to small and and bathroom facilities are quite adequate. The location is great with a 7/11 close by and several great affordable restaurants within walking distance. f you want a Thai message you can have it at the hotel or several other place within walking distance. You can rent a scooter in the hotel foyer. You can also draw cash in the foyer. Our family rented 3 scooters and they were all in good condition. The do keep you passport until you return the scooter but we had the peace of kind that it is kept safely at the hotel premises. The staff is super friendly and assisted with booking taxis and all other requests. This is exactly what we wanted for our family holiday - full marks to this hotel.

The hot season was a bit much especially during a heat wave . Sea temp does not cool you down. Lovely place, vibrant night markets, cocktails and food very cheap and delicious. People are so friendly and smiley. Hire car from local vendors with no issues.

Bo Phut is an amazing place to stay.
Bo Phut is an amazing place to stay. The beaches are beautiful and clean. There's a lot of great restaurants and shops to explore. The island is small enough to explore in a day without feeling tired at the end of any tour. I've been to a lot of Thailand areas and this is one of my favourites. Food is cheap and really nice.

There isnt much to do in Bophut.
There isnt much to do in Bophut. We stayed for 4 days and we felt it was too long. The beach is ok albeit small and the only clean areas are those around the hotels and resorts. Once you walk outside your hotel the streets are dirty and smelly and overall lack good infrastructure. there are almost no trees on the streets. Bolt And Grab dont work in the Bophut area and people have to rely on the very expensive taxi mafia. Tourist prices everywhere which are similar to European prices. The Fishermans Village was great with a lot of food options and souvenirs, A must see but open only on Monday and Friday evenings, Other than that, there is nothing else to do in Bophut.

Bophut has a good mix.
Bophut has a good mix. Fisherman's village is quaint but has plenty of life, pubs and restaurants, and a good night market. The beach is clean and not overcrowded and there are plenty of trips on offer Over all a good area to base your trip to Koh Samui from

Lovely clean place full of restaurants/bars, markets, but not too lively, perfect for us and families.
From the pier, the taxis are sooooo expensive. Going back from towns to pier, 200 to 300baht cheaper. So barter. To our hotel price on board was 1,000. We refused and offered 600. That was accepted.
In 4 nights, we ate twice at Summer (next to coco tams) amazing, and we cld see the fire show perfectly.
We hired a car for our stay via our hotel, so probably not the cheapest way. But it was convenient for us on a short stay. One day cost the same as two taxi rides, and instead of doing tours, we went to all the places on tours that we fancied.

The condition of the road surface was abysmal.
The condition of the road surface was abysmal. The drainage is also sadly lacking. The pressure put on the vendors when there is significant rain is terrible. There are also some areas that need a good clean up.
Always wear footwear that can get wet if there in the wet season.
Spectacular setting on Boput Beach, walking distance ( 50m) To Fisherman’s Village where after the pandemic things are being upgraded, renewed and certainly getting back the vibe. The hotel grounds are impeccable as is the accommodation, a veritable botanical garden. Super pool and bar service makes this hotel the prime spot to enjoy your rest and base from which to explore the garden island of Samui.
I certainly would love to come again perhaps for longer,Thank You to all the staff for a wonderful experience!
It was our first time on Koi Samui,we stayed in Pico Samui for 7 nights and it was perfect. The bungalows are nice size and very clean, we loved the breakfasts, and also had lunch and dinner few times, the food was very tasty every time. We have a 5 year old, she really enjoyed the kids pool, but also the Bophut beach was perfect for her. We absolutely recommend Pico Samui, perfect location, close to amenities, Fisherman's village, very kind and helpful staff! Thank you!😊
Amazing location, with fisherman's village close by. We had one of the rooms with the plungepool and couldn't believe how much space we had to ourselves! Koh Samui is a really friendly island and likewise the staff at Bandara are all really welcoming and make you feel at home. The food we had was great and plenty of options for breakfast. Paddle boards are available to hire at a competitive price. This was my second stay and would happily stay again!
All the staff around the resort were lovely, very kind and helpful. It’s a modern resort with a lot to other guest in their free time if they don’t want to leave the resort. The pool area is okay but if you go through the restaurant you have a quick & easy access to the beach which is stunning, you can also walk down to the restaurant by the fisherman village. We booked all our exertions with the hotel which was easy.
We stayed for 2 weeks. We had some requests but Robin immediately provided us with everything.
The hotel provided babysitter services, the 2 ladies who work there were absolutely lovely.
Fantastic location right next to the best restaurants in Koh Samui.
1 min walk to a lovely laundry lady (it’s super cheap and the clothes came back smelling like my childhood 😍).
We will definitely come back!
Great value accom especially for younger kids, loads of pool toys, tree house, massive trampoline, useful having microwave, fridge and kettle plus, seperate private shaded seating area next to each bungalow. Less than 5 mins walk to Fisherman's Village and beach. 7/11 right opposite the hotel. Good Thai restaurants if turn right out of hotel. Bophut much nicer than Lamai for families.
SMILE bungalows is the perfect location within fishermans village - basically central to everything. Super well manicured grounds. Very pleasant staff throughout. More than decent breakfast overlook the beach every day. Really love dit here. Visited all over Ko Samui and we were so glad we chose Bophut. Oteh rplaces were either too quiet or wayyyy too noisy.
I had a Dream Stay at Baan Yaimai Butique Hotel in Koh Samui. It was a pleasant surprise to feel like a home as soon as I walked into the hotel. Common Living area with kitchen cooking facilities, Sea Water Swimming pool and the lush garden was the highlights of this beautiful hotel. I will for sure go back and stay at this hotel in the future.
Its not a 5 star hotel, its a 20 star hotel. Everything is absolutly perfect!!!! The stuff and the hotel WOW!
They treated us like royalty. Perfect place near the market in the fisherman village 3 minutes walk!
A private beach.
The rooms and bed are the must comfy ever been!
Thank you from the bottom of our heart for a fantastic vacation!
We had a great time at Dreamcatcher. Daria and Joy help us with everything during our stay, e.g. helped us to rent a scooter, room cleaning, beach towels, etc. They are great, so the location of this little Hotel! In the heart of Fisherman’s Village. Lots of nice bars and restaurants and just 2min to the beach. Perfect :–)
Staff are wonderful. Pool is excellent, very clean refreshing. Like the pool raft. Great location for the beach and restaurants and markets of Fisherman's Village. Quiet neighborhood. Nice landscaping but needs a little grooming. Housekeeping ladies very friendly. Good breakfast. Good variety and nice fresh fruit.
We liked the location in the middle of the Fisherman’s Village. The Hotel and rooms are amazing, bed super confortable, the quality of finishes and details in the room were exceptional. The beach area was nice. I think it’s a great option for families.
A beautiful resort in one of the nicest parts of Koh Samui. Our two bed apartment was large and comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were very efficient and super friendly. Highly recommended!
The staff was really kind, welcoming and helpful especially Pooki. The pool was nice, the location just 15 minutes from bophut beach which I think was the best area in Koh Samui to stay at. The hostel organises some tours
The location on a lovely beach was great. We were in the middle of Fishermen's Village, which was great. Lots of places to walk and visit. It felt very safe. Great restaurants and massage options.
The property is in a perfect location close to Fisherman’s Village and on a beautiful beach. The resort is exceptionally clean and beautiful. The service is wonderful and the breakfast is lovely.
I reservation connect room type and I got room near by beach. Room have balcony can walk to beach so comfortable. The staff very kind and excellent. I will come back to stay here again.
Beautiful villas surrounding the 2 pools. Right off the strip, with a night market running a few days a week! Quick walk to the beach. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind
Location was lovely, it wasn’t in the main tourist drag of Koh Samui, just a short 15-20min walk and we were at fisherman’s village, which was great. The pool was superb.
