This is excellent value for the money, even if the photos don't match reality. The ocean view makes up for it. The staff were very cooperative and helpful despite the language barrier. The area is perfect for a peaceful vacation, and the swimming pool is excellent. I can't complain about the breakfasts either.

Not far from the hotel, about 5 minutes walk, there is a HUGE outdoor food market. If you want to well and cheaply - this is the place to go!
Not lited as an attraction on the Booking.com site - there is a MUST SEE place just a little way out of town. It's called the Sanctuary of Truth. It's a temple and a museum of sorts - and it's quite a spectacular building. Well worth a visit. Overall my stay was great. Some aspects of hotel are dated. One I would like to see upgraded is the shower head which did not give the best balanced mix of hot and cold water plus it was a fixed head whereas I like to have a flexible head with a hose.

Most of the staff were fantastic the air con you could not control unless you took out the card for electric. Pools and pool area was clean and beautiful with showers and toilets and pool towels. Great for family a range of food at the pool side bar and the restaurant which is open to the public of an evening as the entrance to the restaurant is on the street. Beach, Bars, restaurants and shops right on your doorstep. Hemingway's was our favourite proper English pub with a telephone box for show. Would defo go back

I have used Bookings.Com forever without knowing I should check what type of accommodation I’m booking.
Cococabana is not a hotel. It’s an impressive 59 floor, 1644-unit condominium on Jomtien Beach soi 9. The rules of the building do not allow short term rentals of less than a month. Because of this the task of finding the key to my room was an adventure.
I eventually realized I had to phone a number in China. I was then sent a What’s App text telling me to make my way to a parking space on the second floor, open the trunk of the car there, find a numbered black lock box among about 50 such boxes, open with a code provided in the text and find the key to my room.
My room on the 36th floor was a tastefully decorated but quite small two room unit with a nice view of the gulf. TV in each room but alas no TV channels, Netflix and You Tube only.

No daily room cleaning
There is nobody on-site to help, all communication is through What’s App, sometimes response is relatively quick, other times less so.
In summary, admittedly partly my fault, I thought I was booking a regular hotel room and not a condo unit.
I prefer hotels to condos.

Nice compact holiday resort with easy access to Pattaya if you want it, but very busy at the weekends.
Dongtan Beach is accessible and quiet although can get busy at the weekend.
I tended to eat Breakfast and the specials late afternoon and early evenings (at 99 baht you can't go wrong) in the bars such as Sevens (only a few steps down the Soi from the Scandi Hotel on Soi 7). For a more up market experience try Natan's in Jomtien (see my previous review).
Most of Jomtien is within walking distance but motor bike taxis are readily available and cheap as are Bhat buses.
The weekends get busy so if you are planning rest days Saturdays and Sundays are probably the best days for them.
It has everything you need, connections to a lot of places to Pattaya and a beach in front of the hotel. You also had access to play Billard or Bowling inside the same hotel. The room was always impecable and made me glad when I got back and saw everything in pristine condition and free water it's such a little big detail for me. The pool was great and if you just wanted to go to the beach, just have to walk a couple of meters and lay in a chair or on the sand and enjoy your day.

I read reviews on Google saying the lifts were slow with waits up to 15 minute… this is not true… 6 or so lifts and the longest wait was a few minutes.
Excellent hotel for families with small kids. There is a kids pool with slides, sandpit, large trampoline, small playground and indoor playroom with some toys. Our kids really loved it there. Food was really good, even in the hotel restaurant so we opted to eat there as much as possible and not gamble with beach restaurants. If it wasn't for the terrible beach we would be returning to this hotel for long weekends all the time

The hotel is very close to the beach, about 200 m. There was a cheap restaurant in that street, cheap but serving good food, and a 7-Eleven next to the junction with the beach road, in fact, there are lots of 7-eleven on the beach road.
Very nice, clean condo with great view of Pattaya. Residence has two, beautiful pools, and its own beach. Comfortable, big modern bathroom, lots of movie channels and other cable channels, decent Wi-Fi. Good location at far end of Jomtien Beach/Na Jomtien. Nothing negative about this residence - also adjacent to a sister hotel with sightseeing, outdoor bars, restaurant, coffee bar and spa.
The room was sea facing on 28th floor. It had a big balcony with sea view. The rooms were spacious and had all necessary facilities. The bathrooms were clean. Beach is walkable distance of 200 meters from hotel. Kitchen had hotplate, oven and few utensils. We requested for a early checking which they promptly arranged for.
A small, quiet, friendly hotel and restaurant not far from Jomtien Beach. Our room was comfortable and quiet for our two nights, and our breakfast was simple but delicious. The Wi-Fi and AC worked well. No lift but that gave us a bit of exercise! They also spoke English and helped us get our Grab ride to the bus station.

Stayed 3 days in Z y Zing. Room was big, clean, facilities were very good , Housekeeping was also nice. They used to maintain hygiene. Everything was very good. But it was 7/8 km far from central Pattaya. Apart from distance it is an excellent hotel for those who wants to stay in Jomtien Beach area.
