hotel was very clean , staff were very kind polite and helpful. the owner Jane was fascinating to talk to. she was very passionate about Sao Tome and has spent 30 years I think making the hotel what it is today. the hotel itself was very clean with wonderful gardens.

The location right in the middle of the city is definitely the best attribute. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the AC is a bonus. If you stay on a room facing the street it might be a bit noisy during the night/early morning. But overall is a good value for what they charge.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff who speak English. Great swimming pool, great view. We got water every day in the room and a welcome plate of fruit. Local entertainment on Friday night. Little tourist stand in the lobby reasonably priced compared to outside sellers - very handy!
