Casa luis is a fantastic place to stay. During my time in Sao Tome I had my base there. The room is spacious and gets cleaned every day. Top notch. The daily breakfast is tasty and plenty. Staff is friendly and always smiley. Luis the owner is super welcoming and friendly. He speaks English , too. The outside area is a little paradise and it’s well maintained. Pool is super refreshing. Area is quiet and peaceful. The place is a 8 minute moto taxi ride away from the city and also just like 7-8 minutes away from the airport. It is also safe to walk around even in the night time. Never had any issues as a female solo traveller. Highly recommend.

Even though we stayed for one night only, we enjoyed our stay so much. Waldimiro is super friendly and helpful. He answers all the questions through WhatsApp. He also provided free airport transfers in and out which were very helpful for us. The room itself is basic but clean and had strong WIFI and AC. The accommodation was wonderful, an oasis inside of the beautiful jungle. There is a beautiful garden, filled with exotic tropical flowers. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We had good sleeps since the nights were quiet, dark and peaceful. Maria, the host, was warm and hospitable. Food is the best! Very yummy fish and very fresh fruits and vegetables, and the coffee is the best in the world!
