Very very friendly staff, and the food is amazing - the breakfast was great but also do try to book to eat there if you can. The bathroom was spacious and stylish, and it was a very peaceful location with a lovely star-filled sky at night

Booked this on the way to Trieste from Ljubljana and it was very comfortable for what we needed, which was a good night sleep.

We’ve previously stayed in another accommodation with 2 rooms, but our “smaller” single room in hotel Prunk felt more spacious and had enough room for our bags and clothes. The location may not look anything special, but you’ll be able to get to Trieste or the Miramare castle as well as other interesting destinations in Slovenia easily. We’ve also found it very convenient to have the parking lot right in the front of the building.

Owned and run by an extraordinarily kind and hard working couple - Dajana and Boris - exceptional food, service, and kindness like no other place I've visited. Beautiful views of the hills/countryside.....your wish is their command and this family is so hard working. The estate is gloriously beautiful, green, roses everywhere....not a blade of grass out of place. Close to the magnificent Lipic stud farm where the gorgeous Lipizzaner horses reside. local caves to explore....just ask Boris and Dajana, they will tell you and help you....they are amazing

Lokev is a small village with three or four restaurants.
Lokev is a small village with three or four restaurants. By far, the best restaurant is at the hotel Casa Krasna. The village is close to Trieste and to other larger towns. The appeal is that it is quiet, but not remote.
Be sure to see the Škocjan Caves. And buy tickets in advance.

Small, peaceful village.
Small, peaceful village. An interesting starting point for many excursions: Lipica stud farm, many different caves, Chicken hill, etc. Great for hikers, bike riders. Italy is near (Castle Miramare for example).

Lokev was a short drive to Piran - a must see - and to the caves in the area. It is a quiet, low-key town, beautiful and the air smells fresh. The church bells ring a lot and a rooster is heard crowing in the distance.
