Location superb, staff friendly & nice size room. The lake view was lovely.
Breakfast let it down, not enough choice & poor quality. Cereal & pancakes good.
Pool facilities were good & towels being provided was useful.

The hotel is beautiful hotel and in a great location. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Check in and check out was easy. The suite had good amenities, a great shower and overall was very pleasant to stay in with a comfortable living space and comfortable beds.

While the town of Bled was very busy with travelers, the surrounding nature was exquisite! Walking around Lake Bled, visiting Vintgar Gorge, and all the wonderful hikes in the Lake Bohinj area - just spectacular. We also found that every meal we had was a good one, if a little on the pricier side.

Bled, Slovenia, is a picturesque gem that truly captivates the heart. Nestled by the stunning Lake Bled, the town boasts breathtaking scenery that feels almost otherworldly. The shimmering lake, with its emerald-green waters, is crowned by the majestic Bled Castle perched atop a steep cliff, offering panoramic views. A serene 'pletana' boat ride to the enchanting island at the lake's center, home to the charming Church of the Mother of God, is an absolute must. The lakeside is lined with delightful cafes and restaurants, where you can savour delicious local cuisine while soaking in the beauty of your surroundings. The marketplace and quaint shops in Bled are perfect for exploring local crafts and souvenirs. Bled is not just a destination; it's an unforgettable experience that blends natural beauty with cultural richness.

Just a beautiful location, worth the effort to get there.
Just a beautiful location, worth the effort to get there. Did the gorge walk which was absolutely amazing and again, well worth the effort. Of course, you have to pay for everything which put us off doing some attraction (seen one castle in Europe you’ve seen them all sort of thing) but we’d definitely go again

Gorgeous lake which could be walked around in about 2 hours. Felt very safe. Friendly, helpful people in shops and restaurants.
I would definitely avoid high season as the word seems to have spread about its beauty! They are planning a new road which will hopefully help in a few years.
It’s a place we have love and returned to regularly for nearly 20 years! Beautiful in winter too.

Stunning view. Several hikes available around the lake. Good as a base for day-trips. But day-trips require a car (except for Vintgar Corge which is accessible by a convenient shuttle). Highly recommended.

Beautiful spot with plenty to occupy your time for several days. Must sees are the Bled Castle, visit to the Island and a walk around the lake. If walk is too much (around 6 km) there is electric train that will take you for the full or part of that scenic walk.
For those that enjoy walking there are numerous walks and hikes off the lake and beyond.
While there is not a view of Lake Bled, the lake is only about a five minute walk. The hotel sits in a quiet neighborhood and offers free parking. This is family owned and they are very proud of their penzion; it shows in a variety of details, from the craftsmanship of the building to the friendliness of the staff to the exquisite breakfast served each morning. Sparkling clean. Excellent dinner restaurants in walking distance, too (which they suggested). Our room had a small balcony which was lovely. We were very pleased.
One of the hotels that offer a view of Lake Bled and it was worth it. The room I had was great. The bed is comfortable, the TV is of high quality and the bathroom is modern and clean. There are boat trips in front of the hotel that will take you to the island at the middle of the lake. Their restaurant is also good. Breakfast buffet was okay. There are not so many food options within the area so plan accordingly for your meals. Also take note that it is quite a walk if you go down at Bled Bus Station.
A beautiful hotel out in the country, just a few kilometers south of Lake Bled. Quiet location, easy to find. Our room was spotlessly, clean, modern, and comfortable. The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room is somewhat sparsely appointed, but perfect for our needs. The breakfast was quite excellent, with selections of various breads, yogurt, cereals, fruits, meat slices, as well as juices and coffees, and the eggs if desired are cooked to order.
The Vila is a hidden gem in Slovenian Alps. The location is very convenient, one street away from the center of Bled and the lake, with parking available. We were warmly welcome on our arrival and the staff were very very helpful with everything we needed. The sauna and the hot tub is a nice treat after a day-long hike. The place is spotless clean and very stylish. I would definitely stay again.
Wonderful 3-night stay! Rooms were comfortable and the staff was both friendly and helpful, with good local recommendations. Traditional Slovenian breakfast was delicious. The Old Cellar Bled restaurant was fantastic with great wine and locally sourced ingredients -- compliments to the chef! Location was perfect with a 3-minute walk to Lake Bled and lakeside attractions. Would come back again!
This is the best 3 star Pension I have stayed im Germany and Slovenia so far. :-) It is better than many 4-stars hotel. The host is generous in everything, from the furnishing to the toiletries, towels and the breakfast. The location is ideal for us as it is near the Bled lake but away from the tourist crowd. The bed is very comfortable amd the breakfast is great.
The whole organization of the stay is on the top-notch level. Picking up the keys is quite easy, the apartment we were in - Grad - was super clean and comfortable. The heating is absolutely great. The view and a short walk to the lake Bled make everything even more enjoyable. All in all, one of the best private accommodations ever.
An absolutely immaculate hotel in the perfect location overlooking Lake Bled. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the rooms were incredibly comfortable, quiet and spotless, and the facilities were well-maintained and high quality. Breakfast was excellent and I would highly recommend staying here, and will visit again!
Gorgeous hotel with a charming log cabin style of interior. The hotel is located far from everything, which was a plus in my book. It was a short drive to Lake Bled. Very quiet location. There are plenty of parking spots. The breakfast was great with plenty to choose from. Worked very well for a 2 night stay.
The hotel is app 10-min walk from the lake, shops and Bled centre. It has a wellness and spa center, but not so big pool which could be crowded during weekends. Food was good with sufficient offer for short or longer stay. I stayed in a double room that was equipped with everything you need.
The view! Amazing balcony view to sit and look out across the lake to the island ... second to none. Lovely family run hotel, friendly and helpful. Perfect. Room very pretty and well equipped. Restaurants and little shop close at hand. Car parking space provided ... like gold dust in bled
The hotel is situated in a wonderful location, very near to lake Bled. The staff were very friendly, and helpful in anything needed. The rooms were tradional and exceptionally clean. The breakfast had many options that were very tasty. Overall I would highly recommend Garni Hotel Berc
Beautiful location on Lake Bled. Quaint but we’ll maintained hotel. There is always a spot to park your car if you are staying at the hotel. The breakfast was included in the price and fairly elaborate. The attached restaurant is also nice. Overall great friendly service.
Everything! We booked a lake view room worth the money bled is so magical and the hotel offers panoramic views. Rich buffet breakfast and a lovely swimming pool on last floor with panoramic views. Couldn’t ask for more.
We loved our stay in Lake Bled and our room was perfect. The hotel had amazing artwork all over which made it feel extra fancy. The location right on the lake was perfect for walking and boating.
Lovely hotel only 5 minutes from Lake Bled. Spotlessly clean, good breakfast . Friendly staff especially one on reception, due to illness we had to stay an extra night and he was so helpful.
good location near the lake, a terrace with view to the castle of Bled, nice furniture and style of the hotel with a lot of wood, room with view to the castle, parking space is included
Very original interior of the hotel (a mix of classic and modern). Comfortable and cosy. Free parking in front. Quiet location within 5 min walking distance to lake Bled.
